There's only 12 playoff teams.

I already submitted Arians, Rex Ryan, and Reid as my CoY picks but Chip Kelly probably deserves it just for this...

Manning, Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Luck, Wilson, Newton, Foles.... Maybe the highest quality of QBs in one playoff ever? Oh yeah and then there's Kaep, Daltonlahh, and Smiff... They can't all be good.

I think the Pats are at best the 8th most talented of the playoff teams, but they play in the lolAFC, so I'll take my chances with a game at home, a cold game in Denver, and then a wtflolridiculous snow Super Bowl against the Seahawks. Pats and Brady morph themselves to the elements and almost won in Gimmick Stadium last year, I'll take my chances if it comes to that.

Why do you all think knocking the ball down on the last play of the game when it's a hail mary is better than catching it?

If you try to knock it down it can deflect into a wr's hands and you lose. I'd always try to catch the ball. You knock it down when it's a field position issue and catching it means you'd be worse off than getting it at the line of scrimmage. But those are very rare situations in the NFL.

I would imagine if you are in a unique position to slam it out of bounds, you should do so. Same goes for onside kicks. You're talking about a moment when a defender slams the ball down and it falls into a receiver's hands and ends up a touchdown. Not often. But NFL players are stupid and poorly coached, so they often try to catch it anyway. Pad dem stats.

I just think crazy things can happen when you try to hit the ball instead of catching it. It can tip up instead of down like in that AJ Green TD earlier in the year.

I'd always go up and try to catch it. Have confidence in your hands and get the ball.

Rex Ryan deserves at least a little COTY love. He got a team many thought would only win 2-3 games nearly within a tiebreaker of making the playoffs.

I have Kelly, Belichick, Rivera as my choices, though.

Gase playcalling watch last two games:

After saying he knew they needed to throw it more and would when it mattered Manning had 79 attempts in 6 quarters vs (I think, maybe miscounted since Manning sat 2nd half) 26 rushes.

Almost put Rex in there, but any top 3 without Chip, Reid, Ron seems wrong.
