Thats it, I think I liked the Devils logo when I was young (93 would have made me ten, and we just got the Sharks a few years earlier, so I was just getting into hockey, and the Devils had the best logo. Then of course Marty arrived that year and I loved goalies and he was pretty much a phenom, so there ya go.)

Been a Giants/9ers fan as long as i can remember, Devils fan since ten or so.

Regarding Geddy/Triumph...

One of them is a 23 year old university student & entry level worker. The other is a 40 year old career man. It's socially acceptable for ONE of them to still be posting seriously on an online forum but not the other.

If Triumph thinks it's hard being a Devils fan in New York, then dealwithit.jpg. Try being a ****ing Senators fan for instance when half of the people in the city love the Leafs more. Or try being a Habs fan in any anglophone region in Canada. If you think you have it tough, come to Canada.

The OP is pretty great, but I agree nhlnut should get to start it as it is his time.

What does that even mean? Seriously your posts are about being honorable and doing the right thing and then you talk about "serious internet" posts and "socially acceptable" as being an important divisors in a internet debate over fandom of all things?

Truth is, when you put being a fan of your team ahead of being a fan of hockey you risk ending up looking like an empty clown. Sorry but you do.
