Can someone help point me in the right direction of doing some research on ways to utilize PT4 more than I do and building my own HUD? Thanks in advance.

I mean I get that but I've been lazy about poker long enough. Recently I've gotten serious about the game and been putting in off the felt study. I really would just like the tools to study it myself. I know how to build the screens for it and have made a custom hud for myself I just think I may be missing value in it. Thanks anyways.

i've put a lot of time into making my own hud, and i think that's one of the best uses of your time in pt4 as far as increasing profitability. what stats you should have in your hud depend a lot on your style and what game you play. the best way to begin is think about what information you wish you had available when you face common situations in your game. then check if there is a stat for that info and add it to your hud.

regardless of what game you play, you should get use out of vpip, pfr, cbet flop, fold to cbet, fold bb to steal attempt, and attempt to steal (possibly filtered for position). also, you should always include the # of hands stat so you have a gauge of how much credibility to afford the stats in your hud.

By far the best use of your time is to read the "custom stats and reports" sub forum on the PT4 website.
