I've been spending the past 8 hours searching desperately for a way to Mod Redkings' crappy design and I'm at my wit's end.
I started out in the 2p2 thread, of which, the key designer mentions constantly that "itt they talk about creating the .bat file."
Well, let me assure you- they don't lol. They spew a lot of stuff about .bat files, but none of it is really well and laid out... so I decided to expand my search after reading 200+ posts in that thread, and trying to decipher out what half of them were saying (which is a task because at times I didn't know if I was reading script or just bad English).
That led me to Grinders.org:

They have a comprehensive process as to how you can mod those crumby ongame skins. I was beginning to get excited.
So, I did the process... which took me about 5 minutes to setup (there was some tweaking/cleanup from my past attempts involved)... and it just didn't feel right.
It was really this easy?
I logged in, and to my unhappiness, 0 cashgames were available. I unchecked the hide full tables and hide empty tables buttons... but there were still none. How could this be? Oh well, RedKings allows the client to match you to a table, so I clicked that.
SWEET JESUS THE MOD WORKED!
Or at least, it kindof did. So, I can no longer table select in any sense- I can't close the handhistory bar on the right margin, and it takes about 3x longer to initially load when I open the client.
I guess I'm stuck in sad land with my crumby RedKings default mod.
Please help. WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE THIS HARD TO HAVE SOMETHING NOT GIVE ME A HEADACHE!
