Re: ** Quick Questions & Answers Thread ** LC / OT (aka: "Ask _dave_ & Juk")

Hello, I hope I'm in the right section.

Problem with HM. Every time I start a new session, by HUD stats reset. It remembers other players stats, just not mine...

I've only just downloaded the free trial you see so sorry for the n00bish question.

Thanks

HM is designed to only show your session stats at that table as we felt it was alot more useful for a couple of reasons:
1) A lot of people will have a huge amount of stats on themselves so it saves lagging issues having to show these for yourself
2) A lot of regulars are very aware of their stats and when youve alot of stats accumulated it would take a huge swing just for 1 stat to change since you've such a big sample and so there not very useful
3) Its much more beneficial to see your session stats to get an idea of how aggressive or passive people will see you since you sat at that table. (again even if its against a reg youll know yourself your overall image or at least you should)
4) You can easily check your overall stats in the reports section to remind any stats but again most people know their stats pretty well.

it's because you are newly registered and don't have many posts. participate in some threads, answer some questions and in time you'll get PM abilities

Just saw this in the Zoo and thought it might be worth posting here:

An interesting development for those who play on cake (and possibly for those wanting to write software that interacts with their client in the future):

Cake testing viability of allowing HUDs, PT3 exclusive

is there any AHK script currently working on iPoker? I'd really like to grind comfortably there.

pokerstove? note however that the x% isn't necessarily your opponent's top x%, just the top x% vs. 3 random hands. other programs, CardRunnersEV etc. will also have x% sliders I'm sure.

Hey ive just moved house and everything was working fine first few days with poker software however today when trying to open poker tracker i get this message.

"poker tracker was unable to contact the registration to confirm the activiation of your product. please make sure that pokertracker.exe is allowed full internet access through any firewalls installed on your computer"

As far as i can see the software is allowed through my firewall and as it was working yesterday i have no idea what has happened

Hi all,
I don't think I've posted in this forum before today, so this post will be an introduction/question for all of you experts
I just created a thread regarding doing pokerstove like calculations with C# libraries, and it was suggested that I ask in this thread. Here is the OP.

I tried posting in his article (also see his second and first articles) but it seems that he hasn't been answering for like a year.

I recently got Keiths libraries and was playing around with them. I was testing some pokerstove functionality for an app I want to work on. Well I got it do do exhaustive range computation a-la-pokerstove correctly with the following code:
Code:
foreach (ulong player1mask in PocketHands.Query("AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AKs, AKo"))
{
  foreach (ulong player2mask in PocketHands.Query("QJs", player1mask))
  {
    foreach (ulong board in Hand.Hands(0UL, player1mask | player2mask, 5))
    {
        // Insert Calculation Here
        uint player1HandValue = Hand.Evaluate(board | player1mask, 7);
        uint player2HandValue = Hand.Evaluate(board | player2mask, 7);

        // Calculate Winners
        if (player1HandValue > player2HandValue)
        {
          player1Wins++;
        }
        else if (player1HandValue < player2HandValue)
        {
          player2Wins++;
        }
        else
        {
          ties++;
        }
          count++;
    }
  }
}

// Then I use plater1Wins, player2Wins, ties and count to compute probabilities.
The code is meant to do an exhaustive evaluation of a range "AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AKs, AKo" vs a hand "QJs".
I get the exact same probabilities and my count is the exact same number of "games" performed by pokerstove. Basically i get the exact same results, but it takes pokerstove maybe a second to do this evaluation while it takes my code up to 3 minutes. Anyone have any ideas or experience implementing this with these C# libraries to get it do what I want with a comparable performance to pokerstove?

Thanks
Not sure if this has already been addressed in this massive thread, if it has been, I apologize. If not I would really appreciate some help. I am currently aslo reading the 7 Card Hand Evaluators thread.

Thanks.

If someone sends me an AHK script compiled into an exe, how can I see the code that will be executed when I run it?
