nice thread.

I am sorta working on my Bubble Factor Calculator right now. Expanding it to 6 players instead of 4. Why didn't anyone tell me I could put the whole EV calc into one function and just call it each time lol...

As long as it doesn't end up 20 pages long... I try to follow the STTF monthly thread but have to give up around the 5th of each month

Anyway, off to get some dinner then come back to revel in some (hopefully) doomswitch-free poker! I think I upset the poker gods writing the SNG luck code... Daily bankroll sacrifices seem to have done the trick though!

I don't use Realtime but if you just want to import hands file extension shouldn't be a problem: File, Import..., Select File(s) to import, in the drop down menu select "All Files", and it should be working fine.
Or at least it works fine with tmp files created by Full Tilt.

I think that this post should be sticky, so fozzy won't have to wake up early every day to bump it :-)

Now a little question for scripters: some time ago I needed a very simple script and found AutoHotKey and AutoIt. Even if I'm not a scripter at all I googled a little and found out that AutoIt was considered more advanced. Then I saw that it uses SciTE as default editor, and so I installed it. Now I see that everyone here uses AutoHotKey, so I would like to know why it has become standard: did I read wrong comments, when I googled for some opinions? :-)

I'm not sure why ahk became more popular, but here is a thread on the ahk forum, comparing ahk and autoit. The supporters of each language seems to be not so fond of eachother.

I remember seeing a post about an AHK script that removed all the title bars from PS tables to help with multitabling. Tried searching but can't find it. Did I just imagine it? Anyone use it?

I think there's a rule about unlocked stickies on 2+2.

And by rule I mean I don't think it's allowed.

Re: ***Official SW Monthly Thread February*** : LC / OT / Trivial / Easy posts go her

1st question

I did some searching and really couldn't find an answer from anybody besides the people that actually made and are selling the programs.

I'm wondering what table selection program for pokerstars is of the highest quality.

somebody in another thread listed telescope and sixth sense, but they didn't say anything about them really.

2nd question

I've been out of online poker for sometime and I'm surprised to see all this software out now. I'm not familiar with anything really except for PT and PA. What other software genre's should I be looking to get that could help my game. I mostly play 6max NL and a few sng's and mtt's. so any software recommendations or points in the right direction for more research on my part would be awesome.

aces,

I just use the lobby filters at stars. Right click on any column heading in the ring game lobby, to set the sorting filters.

There is a new version of PT in beta called PT3. Try it for free, the HUD will be in beta soon. Holdem Manager is new competition, and costs 55-80$. The upcoming 1.04 release will be unlimited hand import trial for a few days. Also coming out beta soon is the new PokerEV with HUD.

As far as additional tools, there are more and more every day. PokerStove is a must, and the new PokeRazor is really impressive as well.

The best thing to do, is start browsing the bigger threads here, in software - and ask questions here or in the respective, dedicated threads.
