Bummer, I wasn't sure as I don't use them (don't need em donking around on 1 or 2 plo tables while working) and I don't play tourneys.

Development stopped after black friday. Cash might still work.

I don't think there is anything similar to this anymore. We have plans for a HM2 Tournament Sessions report that might do some of what you want but it would be a report and not a HUD or separate GUI.

I currently have PT4 but I'm thinking of getting poker co-pilot. Does anyone know if I can transfer hand data from PT4 to co-pilot? Or should I be able to import all my hands to co-pilot anyway since they are on my hard drive (are they? I don't know much about these things...).

I would assume you can import the hands from the PT4 processed folder to Co-Pilot but I don't know anything about MAC or Co-Pilot.

Hey, some newbie questions I hope someone can anser

1. Do apps like notecaddy/flopzilla/tablescan turbo use your hand history? I'm pretty clueless but since these apps uses opps stats like VPIP i'm assuming they do? because if that's the case i'm thinking about buying hands and importing it into them.

2. are there any cash game apps that tell if your opp is a winning or losing player and how much BB or currency they've won/lost over the previous weeks?

thank you

Note: Buying hands is against the rules at most sites and frowned on by most players these days. We can't stop you from importing them to HM2 for example but if we find out you are using them we will not provide you with any technical support and I believe PT4 has a similar policy.

NC and I believe TST both use your own HHs. I am not sure about FlopZilla.

HM2 and PT4 can both show winnings in the HUD based on your own hand histories versus that opponent.

I know that they're banned on PS but have never known that they were frowned upon by the community. If that's the case I won't use it at all. (I actually bought 300k awhile back, but they were just so slow at importing I never bothered)

As for TST using your own HH, does that mean that TST won't be able to help me at all once I've just downloaded it?

I have never used any table scanner (even the HM2 table scanner) so I can't answer that question.

Most often then not you will have no hands from a lot of players. In that case you can use a couple of filters that don't require any hands, like the number of tables and number of BB, just to name two.

For example, usually you won't find a huge fish, with a 50 VPIP, playing 6 tables. The most common scenario will be him playing only one. The regs on the other hand will be the opposite.

Thanks for the answers guys, very much appreciated.

One more thing, is there anything in your HUD to show how many BB/currency that villain has lost over the hands you've played him? It'd be really neat to know if he was a winning or losing cash game player. Or failing that, a cash game version of tournament shark.

All of the popular trackers have winnings stats (Net$ Won or Win Rate) for the HUDs AFAIK.

Cool, I will look into that. Is it just me or does PT reset my own statistics everytime I sit down? (number of hands always start at 1)

Yes, it does. The idea is that it represents your table image. Do you really need your overall stats on each table? Probably this can be configured.

It can't be configured to show lifetime stats in the live HUD in PT or HM. It would cause performance problems to have the hero's lifetime stats in the live HUD. You can see hero's lifetime stats in the reports and it can be done in the replayer but in HM2 for example we default max replayer hands to 20k for performance reasons as well.

Hi, is PT4 auto taking notes?, is it correct that PT4 is better in notes than HM2
Does PT4 have Leakbuster and Tiltbreaker equivalent?

What im trying to figure out is which one does nowadays have more options for me to improve.

Which one takes less resources/ is better for my laptop fan : ) ?

Thanks

many years ago I wrote / posted this handy function:

Code:
psql(sql, database="", debug=0, host="", username="")  {
global psql_path ; by _dave_
database := database ? database : "PTPGSQL1"
host := host ? host : "localhost"
username := username ? username : "postgres"
stamp = %A_Now%
Random, r, 1000, 9999
file1 := stamp . "_" . A_ScriptName . "_" . r . "_in.txt"
file2 := stamp . "_" . A_ScriptName . "_" . r . "_out.txt"
file3 := stamp . "_" . A_ScriptName . "_" . r . "_error.txt"

command := "psql.exe -A -t -h " . host . " -p 5432 -U "  . username . " -d """ . database . """ -f " . file1 . " -o "  . file2 . " 2> " . file3  ; . " 2>&1"

Loop 3
  FileDelete, % file%a_index%
FileAppend,  \f '\t'`n, %file1%
FileAppend, %sql%`n, %file1%
FileAppend,  \q`n, %file1%
RunWait, %comspec% /c %command%, , Hide
FileGetSize, errorsize, %file3%
If ( errorsize > 0 ) {
  FileRead, errortext, %File3%
  FileRead, errorcause, %File1%
  Loop 3
    FileDelete, % file%a_index%
  if (debug)  {
    Msgbox, %errorcause%`n`n`n%errortext%
    ExitApp
  } else  {
    FileAppend,
      ( join
       %A_Now% - An Error Occured:`n`nInput:`n%errorcause%`n
       `nOutput:`n%errortext%`n`n`n`n
      ), %A_Scriptname%_Error_Log.txt
  }
}
FileRead, sqlout, %File2%
Loop 3
  FileDelete, % file%a_index%
StringTrimRight, sqlout, sqlout, 2
return %sqlout%
}
You'll need to set auth type "md5" to "trust" for localhost in pg_hba.conf, or use other methods to get past password authentication - can't pass it in on the command line non-interactively.

You'll need to place psql.exe in the same folder as a script using this function. And maybe some DLLs too if your PATH isn't set up for them (it will tell you).

you can set default database / host / username by editing the top few lines of this function.

usage example:

Code:
msgbox, % psql("select count(id) from players;")

I am planning on starting using PT4 or HM2. I know what the numbers in the HUD means but I dont really know how to adjust my game based on what the numbers show. Does anyone have any good video/text that explains how I should adjust my game according to who I am playing against and what their stats show.

Depends a lot what game you play. But basically, look at their numbers, look at your own. Where there is a difference, imagine what they must be doing differently than you to get those numbers (calling more often, raising less often etc), and what that must mean for their ranges. Complicated subject!
