I've been having trouble with my TNFT for quite awhile. I cannot map any letter keys to action hotkeys anymore. However the arrows, space bar, tab key, F keys, etc still work. I didn't originally know that these keys worked, and I would temporarily fix the problem by performing a system restore once every week or so while I looked for a solution.

The tableninja support couldn't fix the problem and suggest that I back up my files and reinstall windows. I want to do this as a last resort. Anyone have any ideas as to how I could fix this problem?

Are there any programs out there that let you set up a stack of tables from multiple sites at once and then have those tables behave properly, such as popping up without stealing focus from another table that already has pending action? Thanks.

but only if you can TURN OFF each site's respective 'popup table' option, such as Stars, FTP, UB, etc. if the site won't allow you to turn this off, i know of no way to prevent it from interfering

I rarely played on PS and FTP until now, so I'm guessing this is a super-easy Q, but I'm not too famil with the clients.

What is the best way to batch import buddies / notes into PS and FTP?

For example:
i) I use HEM to identify fish on PS.
ii) I then export all of the player names to a .txt file, so now I have one .txt file that simply has a list of screenames, 1 on each line like this:

I want each of those names to be highlighted in the PS client without having to manually add a note for each. What's the best way to import that list into the PS client? I'm looking at with PS' notes highlightingSo...now what's the best way to import those buddies into PS? I'm looking at the "Edit Player Notes" window, and tried to "Import Notes" from the .txt file I created...but that didn't do anything. Halp?

answer to both Stars & FTP is SertiCentV's NoteCaddy software - I think it does exactly this.

I devised a long/stupid way to do it manually by editing the notes.xml file using a bunch of Excel "&" functions, but may look into that software.

**Follow-up Q: Does Stars (or FTP for that matter) have any functionality that will change the color of a table in the lobby if a buddy / or someone on whom you have notes is sitting at it?? As far as I can tell, the table name is only displayed in a dif color when YOU are sitting at it or on the WL...I'd like to see at a lobby-glance where my buddies are (e.g. at what tables / on which WLs).

EDIT: I see, also, that Stars also places a little Stars icon next to a table in the lobby when a Team PS player (e.g. nanonoko) is sitting...basically I'd like to make tables stand out like that myself based on who is sitting...(?)

AHK is hugely powerful and will let you do most tasks on a computer without having to use a mouse. Most everything in this forum is permitted by sites.

Probably a xbox 360 gamepad or PS3 controller are good options for you? chances are for Full Tilt you'll do fine with FTCash script, or TableNinjaFT + xpadder.

I've been playing a while now on FT and PS but have never used HUD. Is there any good FREE HUDs out there? I play off a mac too so this could rule some of them out.

I'm not against buying a HUD either - I just don't have the money for it atm. What's the best HUD going regardless of cost, just so I know in the future?

very possible. learn to use AHK, it's almost harder to use a standalone program. and two clicks can turn most ahk in to a standalone program.
