I play both HU and ring.
When I am playing a player HU I need to have it show only the HU stats.
I prefer to have separate stats shown for ring also. If 3 players only show stats for the hands that player has played with 3 players at the table etc.

I have tried making custom HU stats and I have tried HUD > options > profile select but I think this applies the number of players filter to all my HUDS and I can not apply these filters here to an individual one right?

Basically if I am playing in a ring table and all I have is 100 hands with a particular player HU, I want it to currently show stats for zero hands for my ring filter for that player.

Go to HUD -> Edit HUD Options

Then under "Number of Playered Filtered", Add Min Max ranges.

e.g. for HU...Add 2, 2
for 3 handed...Add 3,3
then for 4-6 handed...Add 4,6

this does not do anything as it does not seem to apply to a specific HUD. It is under general settings which does not let me chose a hud for me to apply this number of players to. Can anyone help please?

That setting applies it to all HUDs.

It isn't entirely clear from your OP exactly what you want.

If you are saying you want both HU and ring games stats on a single HUD, that needs to be done using all custom stats.

If you are saying you want to be able to swap between a HU HUD and a 3 handed HUD and a 6 handed HUD dependent on the number of players at the same table, may I suggest you try EasyStreet.

Yes I can't believe TP does not have this option. If I played with someone HU for a long time and then see his stats on 6max where he sees the flop 80% of the time, it really messes a lot of things up as far as the use of stats.

ok, I am having trouble getting Easystreet to do this. Will pay $10 on PS to anyone that can provide me with a link that shows what I want to do, or will pay $30 for someone to explain it to me through chat or skype. I have several confirmed 10k+ trades in HSNL thread so won't scam you for the money.

What I am trying to do, once again, is to be able to only have HU stats showing if I am playing a player HU at a 6 max table, and only have ring stats showing if more players join the table. I am ok with switching huds myself but prefer to have them switch automatically if that is possible. I am currently stuck on not being able to figure out how to make any specific HUD show HU stats only. My pokertracker IQ sux

The current version of EasyStreet allows you to switch HUDs with hotkeys as you described. If you need help setting that up, I can talk you through it. It currently won't switch automatically, but keep an eye out for a new version with that capability very soon.

However, it sounds like you don't yet have a HUD set up to show HU stats. Are you looking for help with using the PokerTracker HUD profile editor? I can help you with that as well.
