I don't remember were I read it - but to stop PS from updating every time you restart ... you need to R click your PS Icon go to Properties - and change it to Poker Stars.exe - not up date .

This is what you should run (just create a shortcut to it):

Yes, good job with the card base. They just replaced my old full bright deck.

Fonts would be sick.
If you're up for it I highly recommend this one:
http://rapidshare.com/files/41662290...Files.zip.html
File -> 'ADVERGOT.TTF'

If anyone remembers, it's the same font used in PhattyLiver's old PS card mod. Examples of the font in action are included in the PSDs inside of the zip.

yw. honestly, I am a total mod donk. I was just playing around w/ this stuff and came up w/ something that I think is pretty cool, but I am nowhere on the level of ppl like Fozzy who are amazing at this stuff. I would love to kill that font too, but someone else is probably much better suited for the job.

Even with the font though, I think this set up is a 10000x improvement over the stock simplified deck on Stars.

Re: Pokerstars Theme (free]

Is it possible to have my Pokerstars tables appear the same as my Full Tilt ones?

That is, is it possible for someone to copy the Full Tilt screen design (Classic view without Avatars, with a midnight background) for use with the Pokerstars software?

(I multi-table on Full-Tilt and Pokerstars simultaneously but the appearance difference is a hindrance when I have so many tables running.)

If it possible then I am prepared to pay someone well for their time.

here's
1. extraxt the everlong.twoplustwo.com folder to the xthemes folder in your PS installation folder.
2. add this to the xthemes.ini file (open with notepad or similar):

[sober@everlong.twoplustwo.com]
name=everlong sober
folder=everlong.twoplustwo.com\sober
base=simple@pokerstars.com
deck=simple

Everlong writes code just for me

I'm looking into doing some ultra stripped-down mods for myself, so thanks for the resources.

Hi Smart, did Everlong get you hooked up, or do you still need the mod? I left a post for you on PSThemes.

Thx

Re: Pokerstars Theme (free]

Look what Fozzy started working on. I still have to MOD the 2 Text Image files (change, resize, and reposition the text). Then I just have to do the pips.

*Everlong - Am I going to have to re-create the Alpha-Layer file (.A)? I dont really understand it completely, but I can figure it out if I need to. I didnt do anything with it for the cardbase.bmp.

Re: Pokerstars Theme (free]

OK.

I dont feel like trying to learn about Alpha Channels right now. I will need to do that before I can use my own text/pips. In the meantime, I figured I would post a set of card faces and backs for free.

I would be glad to make a few more sets of faces/backs, for a few small donations to my almost non-existent stars account.

*Make a copy of C:\Program Files\PokerStars\Gx\chips&deck\deck\simple before you begin changing image files.

* I made these using the "Waffle " Simple deck on stars. Each of these different sized cardbase.bmp has to go in the appropriate sub-directory of: C:\Program Files\PokerStars\Gx\chips&deck\deck\simple.
