Yeah, whatever they are trying doesnt look like it will be as robust as the xchips/decks/sub-folders we want.

Yeah, that is not really much of a shortcut, IMO. Glad I am playing limit games now. SimpleModManager.ahk FTW.

Re: Pokerstars Theme (free]

Ahhh thanks a million for putting up these themes. I thought I liked the new PS one but it's a little too dark for me. I'm loving the Everlong Sepia one, it's the perfect colours for my eyes. Goes great with my border too.

Thank you !!

Ahhhhh x1000

I just solved my flashing problem. I tweaked around with the settings and made my Seat,Status,and Statusb label all the same colour. Now the only thing that flashes is the Players name when it's their turn to act. Now that I've solved this problem, I just have to learn how to play Poker.

Re: Pokerstars Theme (free]

This is the colour I changed the black labels to.

I went into basic colour(windows xp pro) then clicked Define custom colour. Then I picked the colour 3rd down from the top left corner. The numbers 0-82-82 left side the right side 118-58-58. It blends in perfectly. This is on the Sepia theme.

Re: Pokerstars Theme (free]

Everlong or Fozzy,

I'm sure one of you can answer this question:

I've been using the basic Hyper Simple theme forever, with my own textured gray background. I decided to change to the new "no images" theme. However, I HATE the default green table felt. So, I opened up paintshop and loaded the fb.bmp file that was PS's green table. I made the changes, saved as fbgray.bmp for safety. I renamed fb.bmp to fbsave.bmp, then saved my fbgray.bmp to fb.bmp. This, IMHO, should have loaded my new table.

Instead, when I logged on it told me there was new software updates, did an update and somehow reinstalled it's old normal fb.bmp ... Thinking it was just one of those many updates yesterday, I immediately did it all over again. Everytime (5 times) it kept sensing my software was out of date (I assume because of me changing the file), did another update... sigh.

Do I have to create a new xthemes directory, copy (duplicate) all the "no pics" data into that subdir and then substitute my fb.bmp with the my own creation named fb.bmp?

TIA

1meandog4u- Sounds to me like you are running the pokerstarsupdate.exe instead of pokerstars.exe. I did this for many months before realizing it will not update every time if you run just pokerstars.exe.

Re: Pokerstars Theme (free]

is it possible to use a no image theme and still see your stack size when you are dealt cards? Or is it possible to delete the circle picture image things in a hyper simple theme? Basically i just want a box with name and stack for a player. no other images and so forth. Possible?

yes. The XThemes subfolders arent affected by the updates. I already did all this for you about a year ago. I actually made a no images version of hypersimple last year.

You will need to create your own xthemes sub-folder for any theme(s) you make, and sub-folder of theme(s). You will also need to create your own xthemes.ini entry for your new theme/directory. You will want the new xtheme to use the simple base.

Your directories should be similar to this:

C:\Program Files\PokerStars\XThemes\Fozzy@TiltBuster.com\Vint age-NoImages

And your theme code should look similar to this:

Code:
[Vintage-NoImages@Fozzy@TiltBuster.com]
name=Vintage-NoImages
copyright=(c) TiltBuster.com 2008
folder=Fozzy@TiltBuster.com\Vintage-NoImages
base=simple@pokerstars.com
deck=simple
You would need to change some of the code on every line so it ends up being like this:

Code:
[MyTheme@1MeanDog4U@2p2.com]
name=MyTheme
copyright=(c) 1MeanDog4U@2p2.com 2008
folder=1MeanDog4U@2p2.com\MyTheme
base=simple@pokerstars.com
deck=simple
