The shortcut you are using (on your DTop I assume) points to - "C:\Program Files\PokerStars\PokerStarsUpdate.exe" . This makes the stars client overwrite the simplified deck. If you make a new shortcut, pointing to - "C:\Program Files\PokerStars\PokerStars.exe" this will keep the client from updating every time you launch. You will then want to run your old shortcut, perhaps once a month, to get any critical updates.

I'm still using the Everlong Pitchblack. I still like it, and after using it for over a year I'm quite use to it. But after the last Pokerstars update the players have gold rings around their names, and I'm not savvy enough to fix it.

The theme is a no images theme, that uses the classic buttons and slider. If TN supports No Images themes it should work. If not, it might work on the TN 'Classic Theme' setting, but I can't be certain.

You will want to bypass the stars auto updates, so you dont have to paste your oversized deck in each time you launch stars.

Now go to:

C:\Program Files\PokerStars\Gx\chips&deck\deck\simple

Copy the contents of folder '1' into folder '0'. Folder '2' goes into '1' and so on. folder 5 and 6 will use the same files, from folder 6. Now they will all be oversized, except the full screen mode.

Copy and paste manually, or get a multi-felt theme. Bar Nuthin and I have made a couple of Multi-Felt themes.

Matter, Aco34, and TB-Premium are all multi-felt themes, that allow for quick changing of felts via the included BackgroundsModManager.AHK. We made the tables semi transparent, so that the background change will change the felt color as well, or instead of.

Fozzie, as you can see, I'm running the Everlong's PitchBlack, with the Simple pS theme, and your AndrasXX cards. I like this table, and have used it for a year now, it makes FPDB stats show up well. Even stats too close to the "ring" get hidden, so...

I have changed the border.bmp to get rid of the gold ring, using Paintnet. I still have a problem with some names being too big and the black "hidden" ring is blocking them out. How do I make that ring bigger, or which file, Or even better... can I make it transparent so that it isn't even there, or at least it won't hide anything?

I was having the ring problem with PitchBlack. Resizing didn't work. So I just blacked it out in PaintNet. Looks fine now. I kept the white border so it still flashes white on the person to act.

my favourite was the party poker theme but it didn't get any love.
do any of thes themes work on a mac,sorry if allready asked,didn't read entire thread yet.

Fozzy, I'm a computer moron. How do I stop the PS update thing? Every time I open up Pokerstars I have to reinstall all my mods because it updates and I need to turn that off cuz its annoying me.

I just wanted to have card mods on Stars so I did a research and came to the following link:

I installed the mod and it worked perfect.

BUT, when I close Stars and re-open it, Stars comes with the message that there is new software to install.
I click yes and my mods are gone..

Anyone knows about this problem and has a solution?

Reinstall ur cards..then:
1) right click PS icon and select properties.
2) in the 'target' box remove the word update from the directory.

done.
