How do you remove the Pokerstars logo and other text (Tournament Table) from center of the table?

I do not know how to remove the Tournament Table from the center of the table. I did find a way to get rid of the Pokerstars in the middle though, sort of.

Under your Pokerstars directory go to gx/labels. The image tlg.a would need to be edited to the exact color of your background. Technically, it would still be there, but would blend the word into the background so you cannot see it.

Hopefully someone can chime in with a better way or some info on how to get rid of the "tournament table." If I was a betting man, I would bet on Fozzy.

Pretty sure that it can't be removed, but I never play tourney's.

Chances are that no one remembers the deck he used, or more likely never saw that video. Post an actual screen shot so we know what deck you are talking about.

Does anyone have a free custom table theme for pokerstars that is senior citizen friendly? The criteria would generally be:

1. Fonts are somewhat larger than normal and bold.
2. All words and symbols are dark colors on light backgrounds.
3. Images are generally light and without gradations or complex imagery.

Desperate for something that is easy on these old eyes.

1 and 2 are controlled by the pokerstars client's base theme and can not be edited, ever since they encrypted the gx.ini file. The majority of custom themes are built on the Hyper-Simple (Ordinary base) and Stars bases, and have a relatively light colored text. The buttons and seats may be wildly different, but the pot amount box and all the text that gets placed on the custom images, can not be edited. The No Images themes use the Classic (aka Simple) base. These themes have yellow text. I haven't modified or used the newer bases (Slick and Black) very much, but they might be better for you. The largest selection of custom Table Themes for PokerStars are available at PSThemes and TiltBuster, if you want to see a wide variety of available options.

FWIW - The Full Tilt client still has an editable gx.INI file that allows some of the table text to be bolded.

I tried all the various PS installed themes, and I did find that the Techno theme works very well for me, with one exception: The bet amounts are hard to read because both the font and the table surface are light colored. Is there a simple way to change the color of the table surface? I tried editing in my paint program, but after I copied the altered fg.bmp file to the techno theme folder, when I started up PS I was asked to download a new software update, which just overwrote my altered file with the original fg.bmp.

You should create your own \XThemes\ folder and xthemes.ini file. Then you can create a subfolder in the \xthemes\ folder for your new custom theme that uses the techno base. The basics are explained early on in this thread by Everlong and others.

can someone please tell me how to manually change the pstars decks. i have been going through this awesome thread for hours and cant figure it out. im trying to use szs's cards from the download. so far, i have extracted them to a folder. now what? should i just copy it into the chips/deck folder? i know the answer must be somewhere, but i couldnt find it by searching. thanks for your help and for all the great mods.

Close pokerstars, copy/paste them into %Program Files%\PokerStars\Gx\chips&deck\deck\simple, and then start PokerStars using %Program Files%\PokerStars\PokerStars.exe instead of %Program Files%\PokerStars\PokerStarsUpdate.exe.

I'm trying to mod my hyper-simple theme.

Is there a way to remove the images circle from ever appearing on my tables?
Is there a way to change (not the background) but the color of the table? I want a black background with green felt table.

I have no idea what files to change because I don't know what images are being accessed when I apply the hyper-simple theme.

How does this look? I used my No Images - HyperClone theme and pasted in a semi-transparent/multi-felt table , from another theme, with a dark green felt for default (and some optional felt colors as well). The No Images HyperClone theme was one of my very first I made after moving to stars from FTP, cuz I hated the avatar circles. Now I prefer the images themes. PM me later and I can hook you up with the files, and help you get em installed, for no charge.



I think those are the only free stars chips around, IIRC.

i find mods of the Azure theme pretty easy on the eyeballs. they seem to use a decent size font that is pretty clear.

i made one similar to this using flat earth tone colors and no patterns - unfortunately it appears that i never saved it
