For some reason pokerstars updates and overwrites the mods.

Hey Guys.
Could anyone help me with setup layout from pokergraphics.eu to my iMac.
I bought a Cube theme few month a go, then I bought iMac and had to grind on PS with basic layouts. I was trying to find answer, but all that I made - just change chips look.

What Did I do :
1)Download Cube_Theme to windows. (there is .exe installer, so i Run it to unzip files)
2)I sent unzipped files to iMac
3)changed chips & deck folder

Thats all.

Could anyone wrote a full way to install layout from the begining.
I use OS Yosmite and my PS application seems not updateted (not PS7)

two posts here answer your question.

1) copy theme files across
2) copy / create xThemes settings
3) copy base theme settings file
4) stop your PS client from updating and overwriting your mod files each time it loads up

just realised that some of the gx settings don't seem to be overriding the default gx file settings anymore.

I just installed my table mod on Pokerstars 7, but the background changes to "charcoal" every time I open the client. I would like it to be black and stay black, but it seems to always switch.

How can I make this default to black please?

Ended up doing this by re-naming the "Black" background to "Charcoal" after renaming the original to "Charcoal 1"

What program are you using for editing .ini files?

You should choose this deck for all tables in the menu of PokerStars client after installation and running PokerStars without updating:

Here's my attempt. If you like it, then I'll upload the files for the table somewhere. But custom background for final table isn't available (it's the same dark table with dark background as for common tables).

And also anyone have any nice looking chips? The holy leaf will be a little distracting to me nowadays lol! And I really like that dealer-button, do you have it in white? Or that red-pokerstars-button with grey details on it? The HyperSimple Button is kinda broing with yellow and red "D". If you have the time of course! I like the red stars-puck with grey details the most tbh though!

You should copy these 5 files from archive to ...\PokerStars.fr\themes\ordinary on your PC: DL Link
You can find the exact path for your PokerStars folder in the properties of your PokerStars desktop shortcut.
Then you should install this desktop shortcut and use it for running Stars without update:

I want to remove all the picture rings, and also the annoyong "Leave table" n **** like that in the upper right corner, since there's so little HUD-space...

No table only black background(or a background I can change in software). I don't know anything about this but I have experience in programming from before. I'm just interested in fixing it for myself since most themes cost money or is outdated.
