Pokerstars Theme (free) [main Poker Stars mods thread] - Page 4

Anyway. I have tried to make a self-extracting winrar file of the ANO2 theme (.exe but safe I swear) to at least put all the files in the correct place given that you point the installer to your PokerStars folder.

Follow the instructions in the prompt

its the simple theme at its base

Does your wife/mother/brother need a FTP account.

If so make sure they set-up RB first.

already did that blah blah blah account got found out and locked I did it on the same IP addy thoguh, I need to do it on another comp now, Ill def. do it soon though

Ok sorry but im a mod donk and cant figure out how to add the theme to the xthemes.ini file. I am a total n00b w/ this stuff, but I came up with this using paint and modding some borrowed cards that I got off these forums. If someone wants to tell me how to post these for others, I would be happy to share.

For those who don't know, if you launch PokerStars the "regular" way, it will run an update and overwrite these files. You need to run the non-update version to keep the cards. You can still update every now and then, just save a backup copy of this stuff.

Cardback (I made this in Paint, be nice. It's not perfect, but it works):

All I did was plug them into paint.net and crank up the saturation, which makes them a lot sexier imo.

I don't remember were I read it - but to stop PS from updating every time you restart ... you need to R click your PS Icon go to Properties - and change it to Poker Stars.exe - not up date .

episteme, thank you so much for pointing out these sweet mods.. the transformers backs had me cracking up. the cards look really great.. any thoughts on modding the fonts of the cards? i can't tell you how much i despise the way the queen looks.

Yes, good job with the card base. They just replaced my old full bright deck.

Fonts would be sick.
If you're up for it I highly recommend this one:

If anyone remembers, it's the same font used in PhattyLiver's old PS card mod. Examples of the font in action are included in the PSDs inside of the zip.

Is it possible to have my Pokerstars tables appear the same as my Full Tilt ones?

That is, is it possible for someone to copy the Full Tilt screen design (Classic view without Avatars, with a midnight background) for use with the Pokerstars software?

(I multi-table on Full-Tilt and Pokerstars simultaneously but the appearance difference is a hindrance when I have so many tables running.)

If it possible then I am prepared to pay someone well for their time.
