I wonder if it is possible to make a cardface this size. The deck would these measures would remove the cardsuit and an image appear all over the card? it is possible

my idea is something like this:

If you mean making deck.bmp (6552x118) with full images for all cards and using it for the deck without any other files (cardrank.bmp, cardsuit.bmp, cardface.bmp) with editing coordinates in gx.ini, I tried this several months ago. The deck wasn't displayed at all.

Another way to make decks with big one-coloured face images and big cardranks is making decks based on Stars simple deck.
Like this:


I used custom deck.bmp for default Stars deck and noticed that images from my deck.bmp were blurry in Stars client.

cant we do this already? sorry if I don't understand the concept...

cardbase = 6 cards as you want the card-face to be, include any suit related imagery
card-rank = all of the overlays you want to display for ranks, leaving transparency wherever you want the suit to come from from the card-base file

cardrank = blank image
suit = blank image

^ using bogus .pff file names works for me on a PC (not sure if it matters but I just changed all [font name][font size].pff entries to [font name]1[font size].pff, eg: sb09.pff -> sb109.pff)

try this

[table]
shield_color= 000000 (or hex closest to seat color)
shield_color_alt=%shield_color

[fonts]
shield=digital.pff

works on PC anyways

You could also change the .pff entries to a font that you never use and then delete the font.bmp file from \gx\fonts\

that was my first idea, but Mac client went spaz and crashed, same same for shield=null.

will try a digital font mask [bar] and a nerfed font.bmp [maple]

that said, I did duplicate a font.pff edited it to redirect to a set of blank font.bmp files and that still caused the client to go bananas.

I was wondering why that deck looked familiar to me, familiarish I guess - i think yours looks sexy and obv has far more detail in!

The location of the hand history element you pointed to is defined by the "history=" line in the default INI. There are four entries for the various history elements that are shown on a table by default. You'll need to play with this line to figure out which of the four entries controls the location of this particular history element. (It looks like the current value for this history element in your INI file is something like 0,0) Change the value to something like 1000,1000 if you want it to disappear.
