Wolf theme
My second public one after on of my favorite desctop wallpapers.



Installation

1. Download the files here (sorry thanks to hotlinkers you need to register)
2. Unzip and copy 18v folder to program files - pokerstars - xthemes (If you do not have a XThemes folder in your pokerstars directory then just create one)
3. open your xthemes.ini file in notepad and add at the bottom (if you dont have one then open notepad, add the code below and ave the file as all files with filename xthemes.ini)

base=ordinary@pokerstars.com

4. go back to your pokerstars main folder and delete a file called _updcache.dat
5 start pokerstars and select the them, note theme requires hyper simple theme so if you havent installed it please do so.

Great theme. I love the background picture. I run a 1920x1200 resolution. Where can I find this for my wallpaper, even if a lower resolution?

No idea its been on my drive for ages, google image search with keywords wolf maybe.

Working on a new one, this is fun and a nice break from game modding

I have created a XThemes folder and extracted the zip to it; I also put the xthemes.ini in the folder. I still can't get the themes to show up (I have hyper simple installed FWIW)

Where exactly did you locate this XThemes folder you created?

It should look like this, except the only folder you will have there is:
C:\Program Files\PokerStars\XThemes\everlong.twoplustwo.com

Delete _updcache.dat in pokerstars folder, a new one with the new them infos will be generated when you start the game

My fourth theme is a bingo theme based on techno

i know this is the ps theme thread and all, but if anyone would like to help me (would be willing to pay small fee) i'm looking for someone to help me design and create a custom bodog theme (mainly just want the table completely black, cards to look halfway decent, new dealer button, etc simple stuff) please pm me

just took a quick glance and bodog uses .bmp and .emf for the image files, and .emf can be easily edited with pc image editor.

i use the no images theme but when i have cards i can't see my chip stack...so
i have to look at my amount in the upper left hand corner, but it is in a
very faint whiteish gray that is almost unreadable.

any way for me to change the color, make it bigger, etc?

The actual table image needs to be edited. The font is controlled by an encrypted INI file and can not be edited. I use Photoshop and add a colored shape so the text will show with a black background. The PSD file then has to be saved as a BMP and Alpha-Mask for Stars to be able overlay the table properly over the JPG background.

I took a shot and made my first table today, let me know what you guys think.

I've taken a shot to duplicate the Phatty cards.
I don't know if some circling around or not.
So if anybody is interested I wil post them.

Any chance you would share those chips you ported?

FWIW - Bar Nuthin, and myself have both made phatty-similar decks also.

I haven't made them.
Look around they can be easily found.

Anyway I don't like these "register here and you will get this" things.
This is adware or heavy spamming call it what you like.

It's called a "Loss-Leader" - it's not adware and it's not spam, imo. It's not much different than a "Trial-Version" of a poker application. It is better, imo, as it is not a "limited-feature version" of a for-sale item.

You are obv entitled to your opinion.

fwiw - Your cards don't look like Phatty's deck, yet. Keep at it tho, it's nice to see some other people making new things.
