Pokerstars - New install, lost all my notes!!!

I've just got a new computer and recently completed transferring all my old data across from my old one.

I installed pokerstars from the website, but when I log in I cannot see any of the notes that I've recorded against any other player (within stars, not PT3).

Any idea what's going on?

Note are saved on your computer. not on PS servers.
If you still have your old computer, look for "notes.*.xml"

On your old computer, load up Stars. Go to "options" > "player notes" > "File location" > "open folder". You then need to copy the file that is "notes.Your username"

Open up Stars on your new computer and follow the same procedure as above and paste the notes into the folder.

Re: Pokerstars - New install, lost all my notes!!!

Your notes should be in the notes.nickname.xml file depending what system you had.

For xp - programfiles directory/PokerStars/notes.nickname.xml

For vista or 7 - users/username/appdata/locals/pokerstars/notes.nickname.xml
- you will need to see hidden dirs to see appdata

If you removed these dirs and notes inside then your notes are probably gone.
Also you will need to search dirs based on your previous window install, not the new windows install dirs.

If you manage to find your notes.nickname.xml just copy it over to your current notes dir depending on system you use(mentioned above) and reload PS
