I took the free version for a spin, and there's a couple of things (without having thoroughly gone through the app) that I think could be improved.
-In the session window, it lists your sessions, place, result, game, but you have to click on an actual session to see the duration of any particular session. It would be nice to see session lengths at a glace for all sessions.
-No toke button. Using the expenses field would require manually keeping track of tokes and entering them at the end of the session, or pressing 3 buttons to add a toke during a session. Most players don't consider tokes an expense, so it would be nice to have separate tokes and expenses to track.
-No standard deviation per hour and per session stats.
-When you tap cash game, you are taken immediately to buyin amount. That's okay, but if you have the location default setting set to on and press the Location button from the live screen and select your card room, it doesn't fill in all the fields (game/stake etc). In order for location to work, you have to hit edit and select your card room from that menu.
I realize that this is probably by design, in the event you are at your default room and want to play something else, but that could be edited by hitting Game and changing the game and stakes there, but when you hit Game there is no stakes setting, so you have to change stakes info from the Edit button, as well. I like easy default settings. Your hold cash game for last game played is very nice, but having to type in buyin amount and then Edit and select card room for defaults doesn't seem necessary.
If you're going to have to access Edit to get default game fields to display, then you might as well have another menu (once you click your card room) that will give you more than one game (e.g., click Bellagio and have a mixed limit default and a no limit default that you had set in the settings menu prior), so that you can select from more than one game you regularly play at that room. I think most players that would use an app to track live play would use the same buyin amount for their default games, so going to a buyin screen first seems superfluous when wishing to use a default.
-When you are at the home screen of the app (or when you tap out of the app) while you are in a live session, there is no indication on the home screen (or the app icon) that a live session is still being recorded. Having a little red 1 on the app icon and the In Play icon in the home screen would ensure you know you closed a completed session.
-In stats, I think you need to cut to the chase first; sessions played, cumulative results, hours played, average hourly results, average results per session, standard deviation per session/hour with a gross and net toggle button at the top for all stats. I get all that is there (except for stdv), but those stats are what everyone wants to lay their eyes on first. Scroll down for more nitty stats. It is nice that you can select and deselect which stats to display, though.
