i promised some guys an "eye candy" mod, since i dont have that in my repertoire yet. turns out my photoshop skills are a little rusty (been working with inskcape a lot lately).
nonetheless i have been working on something, i'd like to get some feedback on.

so far this is just "theJamster's Mod" with a different table:



the main question right now is if i want to go for a stars like seat layout as in the "thejamster's mod" or if i want to go for the ongame/ftp like layout (centered middle seat at the bottom and top). i personally like that stars layout more. its much more functional and gives ongame a feel of a completely different software, which is imo a good thing.
what makes me doubt myself about that a bit is that it hasnt been that well received so far. would be nice to hear some thoughts about this.

any other comments about how it looks so far are greatly appreaciated as well. u can also place requests for colors & "skyboxes" (the vegas strip u see on top of the table there).

note that this is in a very early stage and nothing is set final yet.

Personally i like the ft/ongame style where you have a seat top/bottom. As its my preferred seat. i also like the see whole cards the FT had. The only prob with ong is its 10seat tables so the mods never look their best because players sit all over the place.

thanks for the feedback! I have been experimenting with an ftp layout, but it creates several issues with the perspective i chose. not sure if im going to be able to solve that, but im still playing around with this. the issue are the holecards. due to the angle of view here, which is pretty close to the floor, i have to create a table shape that does not have a lot of horizontal space. to illustrate that issue, ill attach a screenshot.


i moved the holecards above the player plates in seats 5 to 8. as u can see there is a lot stuff i have to place on the table and it has to be clearly readable, meaning a great contrast between player bets, pots & sidepots etc. i guess u can see what the issue is then.

Now that was prolly a long and boring explaination, so here is another screenshot of a golf setting im working on with a test for omaha compatibility.



Still nothing final and a lot to do, so feedback/criticism is very welcome!

A SH with action panel would be great. Looks like there is a lot of space for HUD stats... which is good

i dont have an action panel yet, but i can say that i will have to go for a solid non transparent action panel on this one (like the standard one e.g.). there is a bug in the software with the background in turn action panel (the "please selecet next action" panel) that cant be transparent. i have worked around that on my other mods with a fake transparent image, but due to the floor texture that won't work on this one.

if you take the a look at "theJamster's Mod" u can see distance between the lower two seats and the action panel. the spacing on this one will be around the same.

to omaha compatibilty: i found another "cool" bug in the software, that will enable me to force the holecard movement on resizing (which is totally messed up by default). appearently if u give the holdem holecards a negative x axis value it stops the holecard movement for all other games (omaha) too. downside to this is that the holecards for holdem are on the left side now for all seats, imo that looks decent too tho.
this was the main issue i had with omaha, which appears to be solved.

on another matter: i'll be on a family trip over the weekend, so no support till sunday evening.

just wanted to give those who are waiting for the new mod a little update. im still working on it. its just a lot of stuff that needs fixing. i dont want to make another mod that has up and downsides like the last one, so have a little more patience.
i will most likely have all the layout + general stuff finished tomorrow. all thats left is a few more themes then.

EYECANDY MOD

i finally finished the new mod i posted screenshots off the past couple of days. i just started naming my mods and im already running out of ideas for names ... so "eyecandy mod" it is.
most important to know is that its fully functional for nl & limit holdem as well as PLO at all sizes. what remains is that this mod is working in english only. if your willing to pay a little extra fee im willing to mod other languages too.

FEATURES:

- A LOT more space on the table
- better font
- ftp sounds
- pokerstars 10 seat layout
- holecards on the side of the playerplate
- revised actionpanel (narrowed down to gain around 15pixels more space on top)
- "3d" eyecandy themes as well as simple ones.
- some more changes i forgot or are not worth mentioning.

the mod is pretty complex and i assembled random setups for the example screenshots. note that those arent necessarly the best setups, but im super lazy with that stuff as you have seen in my last presentations. to compensate i made a lot of examples (not nearly all that are possible). good thing about it is that you guys can see how versatile that mod is.
if you want to see a certain setup in action, just contact me and we'll make it happen.

NOTE:

i made a list of recommended decks (bottom of the post) that work good with this mod, with the other decks it might happen that the playerseats overlap the cardnumbers by a bit, especially with the solid playerseat option. im working on new decks as well as tweaking the stars deck towards better visability.

PRICES:
unfortunately i have to raise the price a bit. i havent sold a single mod in like 10 days and its barely worth my effort anymore. i should i have reduced my work efforts and played more poker, instead i spent two weeks (or more) on this and even made a more complex mod than those before.
i hope you understand, that i need money to make this work for the both of us.

mod + two decks: 26$

... decks stay at the same price ofc and the two for 8$ deal is still live.

i made the price changes as moderate as possible. i should go higher, but i dont really want to, since i want to keep this available for everyone.
