I feel stupid, but I can't seem to get the big cards to work. I have 6 Cardsx.png, and I'm lost :/

What actual "Big Card Deck" are you trying to use? Is it one of my over-sized decks?

Quoted from the FTP Wiki where my mods used to be posted.

* Make sure FT client is closed while changing/renaming images.

How to use Card Mod's.

1. Open My Computer to - C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\Elements

2. Create Folder called - Originals

3. Move (Cut/Paste) cards0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and cardsmall.png from \elements\ into your new \elements\originals\ folder

4. Go to the wiki page - download your preferred deck - you have to open all 8 images and right click > save image as.. separately. Save the new images to a new folder on your PC (Fozzy-10.0 for ex).

5. Copy/Paste all 8 new images, properly re-named, into the \elements folder.

6. Restart FTP client and make sure the MOD is working.

6.a. If some of your cards show up as blanks, go to FTP Lobby > Options, and change your Four Color Cards setting.

Well, I got them, but when I resize the tables they become squished. Is this normal?

EDIT: Didn't see your response, but thanks for posting it!

Also how can I get my cardbacks to change?
01-25-2008 , 08:01 PM
Ok sorry, I was playing earlier while trying to make the post. I might be able to describe it better, if you still need a screenshot maybe i can download a prog. But for now i want to try do do it without the pic. Basically I think my entire folder is screwed so I think I may unistall FTP and reinstall it to get back to the basics. Problem.

When I saved the table it is working fine, in racetrack style. The cards are what are messing up. When i go to preview the 'last hand' It shows no cards. Therefore I have to scroll down the action to see what they mucked. W/O PAhud. Then when I have my table at a default size, it is perfectly fine except the cards. They are the default red backed deck FTP provides. Then say I was to open up 12 tables and tile them, they automatically are fit to the screen, so when the table 'shrinks' then the cards I want come up. The cards I have saved as 'cardsmall' the green backed ones. Yet they are almost to big, the cards cover each other. On top of all this I cant find just the regular file saved as 'Cards' or 'cardsmall'. they are all my sub files name cards1 etc. Is my best bet unistalling and starting over? Sorry if this is confusing, thanks for the help.

Once again, your description is not sufficient for me to figure out what you may have done wrong. Your best bet is to go to psthemes members download section and get my installer to re-install all the FTP Default Graphics. You have to have a membership at the site to access the downloads section.

http://psthemes.com/forum/index.php?...mod;dl=item208

Then, if you would like a simple to install, complete, FTP Table Package you may want to consider my package: http://psthemes.com/forum/index.php?...sa=view;id=227

It will save you a lot of time and headache, compared to doing it yourself, if you like how my package looks.

Hope this is better 4 u.

For some reason this is not working. I'm renaming the file 'Table.png' and renaming the original, but no table is showing up when I open FTP. I'm making the change while the program is not running...anybody?

1 minute - I will fix it. I assumed because it was all one layer you were using it in a background folder.

Give me 10-15 minutes to try and make this table as a proper table.png w/ transparency so it can be used in the proper method.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The table I posted should be used in the "Original Method" that is described on the FTP wiki and throughout the beginning of this thread. I assumed that was the method you were using. My new Table Packages at PSThemes use the proper FTP Client method of layering the table over the background.

The table you posted was the one you were/are using?? Can u currently right click and change backgrounds or does it always have the same black backround?

My old method used a transparent table.png and then used various background images (table.jpg) in the background folders, that could be changed by right clicking. Now I use the FTP Client method of 1 table.png with transparency that overlays various solid background images .

I am curious if you are confusing the 2 different methods? Do you have a modded setup? My Table Pack? This table needs to be used in the manner described on the wiki as the "Old Method"

How to use the Table Mod's below.

1. Open My Computer to - C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\Elements

2. Move (Cut/Paste) table.png for classic view mods, and tablert.png for RT mods, from \elements\ into your new \elements\originals\ folder.

3. Go to wiki page, download 794x547 transparent table to your PC. Copy and paste into \elements\ and rename it table.png or tablert.png depending which view you prefer.

4. For RT view - Go to - C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\RaceTrack. There are separate folders for each table view in RT. Download new tables from the wiki - make sure you follow all the table links, until the table is in highest resolution, then right click > save image as.. . Make sure you rename the default backgrounds - to something like table-orig.jpg. Paste a copy of the new table mod into the respective folder (i.e. marble, etc) and rename it to table.jpg

5. For classic view - go to - C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\Backgrounds. Then same basic steps as above to replace/rename the images.

When clicking on a table image, make sure to click the "Image in higher resolution" link below the image to get the full sized version of the table.

If the table background already includes the table image (the case with most mods), you need to replace your table image with a transparent table to get rid of it.

794x547 Transparent Image

* Save as Table.png and TableRT.png and put in Elements folder to replace the Original table.

OK

Here is the proper Table.PNG for the Elements Folder, assuming you have a plain black background in the Backgrounds folders.

FOZZY - I'm new to fulltilt so I'm pretty much starting from scratch. I'm trying to get this background (sunken-in-thang) with just a darker table like the one you posted. Let me know if I should just follow the steps you posted or if it is a different process. Tx alot.

It worked my man, and it looks friggin' bad ass. Tx for all the help. I'll be picking up some of your mods on PSthemes too.

Skleice I use black/white version of the original classic table with the same background that you use, maybe you'll like it too:

01-25-2008 , 09:41 PM
Cool. Glad it worked out now. Sorry about the confusion.

My new stuff is compiled in self-extracting zip's (exe) that are very hassle-free. My stuff used to be free when it was a PITA to install and setup. Now that is self-installing and relatively hassle free, they have a bit more value than they did last summer when I had just started.

I just downloaded a couple card mods and the FTP table pack. It's really easy to use and looks great. I swapped out the sunken background/textured table that I like so much. I'm sick as hell right now so I can't really play, so I'm having fun with this stuff.

I"m glad to see your site is going well and you're making some $$$. You've given a lot time & $$$ for free and you deserve some return on your work/generousity.

Thx. I sent you PM with some links to patches for the table pack, when I saw u on psthemes. If you have any questions or need any help/tweaks re: the package, let me know via PM at either site.
