the new yatahay software appears to be moddable, so might as well start a thread

FWIW - it seems you can mod the card images

Then when you launch Doyle's room you just need to be ready to click close on the dialog box as it checks for updates - else the modded cards get replaced and loaded

editing after the fact does not seem to have any affect

I would change the title to ***Official Yatahay network mod thread***, but as long as these mods work for the whole network, I guess it doesn't matter. For the record I play on True Poker. Anyway, here is my post from another forum, thank you kindly.

Please make a mod like your simple black FTP Raven mod or the FTP black Raider theme. Also, please make a deck like your FTP Waffle Ninja Hybrid deck. I will buy these ASAP, thanks!

Soneone sould have a look at the update dialog to see if ahk windowspy can see the text on it and so on. if so, a simple script can detect it and hit cancel instantly every time.

I know this is just a test mod, but I think the black spade may be a little too dark. I like the black spades when you make the top of the card a lighter gray, than toward the bottom of the card it fades to a much darker gray/black. Does this make sense?

Hey Bar, will you be able to make the cards larger, or will True Poker have to do that?

changing the card size only creates additional problems - as it shove the hole cards even lower behind the player box. Combined with the fact that they positioned the action bars above the player box, blocks even more of the cards.

I'm trying to make the best use of the space available without being able to reposition anything.

The good news is the software seems to be the same betweens skins like True Poker, Doyle's. etc. - so one mod works for which ever network you choose

This table mod and this card mod just released on my site.

I may have a yatahay connection willing listen to improvement ideas to allow for better modding in the future - like moving the timer and action bars below the player box instead of on top of the cards

so the current modded cards are not bigger than the originals? The current size of cards is too small.

no, the cards themselves are not any bigger - but the rank is larger and much easier to see
