If someone can make solid bright green dealer buttons I'd be willing to send a computer game.

Quake Wars
Battlefield 2
Battlefield 2 special forces
World of Warcraft
Lord of the Rings Online
Swat 4
Crazy Machines

Maybe making the button bright blue and the reserved button green would be better. Anyways, does anyone know where the dealer button file is, I can't even find it to try to modify it.

Actually I think green is best for me, I forgot the $10 chip is blue.

I figured out how to change the button into a square of any color, I think that's good enough for me.

Unibet made a graphics update today where the player's boxes now have an ugly green and red colour (miniview), which is very distracting and annoying. Does anyone have the old graphics of the player's boxes for the miniview tables?

I'd really appreciate it guys!

Is it possible to change the color of the red cards, they're the same color as the action buttons which makes it a bit more difficult to notice when it's my turn to act.

Would be easier to change the color of the action buttons. 'Hearts' would look pretty dumb any color other than red, IMO.

Hello everybody,

I tried to make my own mod for Doyles Room (The newest 2.40.0.15 client) and found the following files which I supposed define the cards:
  • DECK_CardBackSmall.dat
  • DECK_CardBackMini.dat
  • DECK_CardBackTiny.dat
  • DECK_CardSmall_4Color.dat
  • DECK_CardSmall.dat

There seems to be some sort of file protection, as you can´t rename the files to "png" or "jpg". Also, I tried to insert my card files and copied them to the folder. Still, there were only the classic Microgaming cards in use.

Does anyone know, how to adapt the cards to this new software for Doyles Room? I think, Purple Lounge uses the same files.

okay, I managed to get the cards to the right place.

I was looking to the folder C:\Microgaming\Poker\xxxxxMPP\global\theme\PokerGa me

instead of

C:\Microgaming\Poker\xxxxxMPP\global\PokerGame

Now the size is okay, no matter which table size I use. What still doesn`t work is the correct display of the hands when they are shown down.

Also, when I look to the hand histories, the wrong cards are displayed.

You need software to convert the .DAT to .JPG. Try 'Image Converter Plus' for converting images.

doesn't irfanview do this as well? I'm not sure, but usually it supports all kinds of "cross saving" between different formats like raw, jpg, etc etc

I am asuming if photoshop wont open a DAT file, that IrfanView likely wont open it either. I always converted the DAT to JPG to edit it in Photoshop. IIRC, I could rename a .JPG to .DAT and it would work. But if I tried to simply rename a .DAT to .JPG it wouldn't work.

I may very well be remembering things wrong, it has been a few months since I edited any .DAT files, but I think this is what I encountered. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

The image conversion with the tools mentioned isn`t the problem any longer in my case.

What really troubles me is the fact, that when hands are shown down, there isn`t the correct hand shown, but a pair of Aces. This is really strange. Also, the winning board changes from the correct one to a board with several Aces.

The rest of the cards, flop, turn, river etc. are displayed correct. Did anybody else experience this error? Do you know, how this problem could be solved?

Forgot to mention, there is a problem with some .pngs, which results in incorrect drawing of cards or client crushes. I used IrfanView 4.0 with external PNGOUT plugin to make these png cards. Know for sure that pngs saved by Paint .Net are not working. So beware

Would you mind sharing my cards with me, that you ported to MicroGaming? I hate seeing my cards on a new poker network, when I have no clue who made them, or how to download them myself.

Nope. I just sent a PM asking for a copy. I don't mind that he ported the cards, as long as they aren't being sold by him. I would just like to have a copy for myself.

+1

I like that they're so bright. They're the same ones you made for Roy to use in the HEM replayer I believe, fozzy?
