Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

Wow. That rapidshare "attached to a cat" bs is unbelievable. I guess some of them are "attached to a small dog that looks a lot like a cat" and one of them was "attached to either a small rodent or a koala bear". I used up my 3 tries and have to go back later.

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

Paul....
I just spent some time getting some modded decks for FullTilt. There, 8 files cover all there is.

Looking in the MG PokerGame folder, it seems they use a lot more than 8 images for various decks and games. Your version of 13.5 has 5 images, while your version of 5.4 has 15.

1) How many card images are there in total for a MG client?
2) Do you have any plans to expand on the 13.5 Deck?

Thanks

send me your e-mail address in a PM, i'll send them to you
I love the concept of the cards, but I have a few minor quibbles with the design tho (they overlap a bit in the hole cards position)

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

U found a way to make them work? If not, i don't need to have them. Post a screen maybe so i can see how much overlap there is exactly..

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

wait a sec, I have the yersh cards, not the ones with the yellow spades (couldn't get those to work)
as I said, the yersh deck has some minor problems with it

in the hole cards, the card value is overlapped by the second card. It's something specific on Prima, because of the way the present the hole cards. It would be clearer if they just presented them side to side, but there you are. I think you need to make the card value narrower. Also, the "small" card value in the left hand upper corner is too small by comparison - it's hard to see while playing, because Prima only shows part of your own hole cards.

And as I said: it would be clearer if the spades were in a nice contrasting yellow (not too light tho, as you still want to see the card values clearly). Anyone interested in tackling this?

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

Anyone who can post those Patty_Yellow decks to megaupload or filefront or something non-rapidshare? I can't figure that stupid cat system out for the life of me.

OT: I sent those rapidshare clowns an e-mail

Dear madams & sirs,
your idiotic "find the cat attached to the symbol" game is an atrocity that should be banned by the Geneva convention. It makes your service unusable. Has anyone of you ever tried to get a free download to work, figuring out which stupid undistinguishable pet animal is a cat and which is a raccoon/beaver/chinchilla/bassoon hound? I hope your website and your business goes down in flames. Soon.
Cheers,
a disappointed customer.

curious if they'll answer

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

I think they make it impossible intentionally. Trying to encourage you to upgrade.

I got lucky with the cats once. Then, at certain times of the day, they have "happy hour" when you don't have to play their silly games.

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

lol, the guys from rapidshare answered me:

Hello,

we are sorry that you got a error message when entering a Captchas.
We use Captchas to prevent automatically downloads.
Automatic downloads from Free-User decrease the download speed from our
servers significantly.

Therefore we change our captchas from time to time for better safety and to
provide the best possible service for our Premium and Free Users.
Our intention is to prevent automatic screen reading software and this can
cause sometimes difficulties reading.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Kindly note that even though there now are more than 4 letters and numbers in
one captcha you still only have to type 4 letters and numbers in the box.
Every captcha letter/number is pictured with an animal and you only have to
use the 4 letters/numbers with the cats.

The sitting animal is the cat.
The standing animal is the dog.

Best regards,
