New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

Here are some new mods for the new version 2.40 of the Microgaming poker software. You can check your version by going to Menu->About in the client.

If you have 2.39 or earlier, then use the mods in these links:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/45/software/full-tilt-card-mod-ported-prima-1592/
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...d.php?t=106122

If you have 2.40 or above, use the mods in this thread.

Here is my new moded table:

I have four lots of mods that apply to all table sizes (including miniview).

Card backs - yellow

Unzip CardBacksYellow.zip and copy the .dat files to
C:\Microgaming\Poker\EurolinxPokerMPP\theme\Euroli nxPoker\global\PokerGame
http://www.randomsplat.com/pokermods...acksYellow.zip

Card backs - red:
Unzip CardBacksRed.zip and copy the .dat files to
C:\Microgaming\Poker\EurolinxPokerMPP\theme\Euroli nxPoker\global\PokerGame
http://www.randomsplat.com/pokermods...rdBacksRed.zip

Card Mods:
Unzip Cards.zip to
C:\Microgaming\Poker\EurolinxPokerMPP\global\Poker Game
http://www.randomsplat.com/pokermods...SP40/Cards.zip

Best Hand Card Mods (if you want the best hand display cards changed, see bottom right of my image):
Unzip BestHandCards to:
C:\Microgaming\Poker\EurolinxPokerMPP\global\Poker Game
http://www.randomsplat.com/pokermods...tHandCards.zip

Ok, that's it for me. I have not done any table mods so far as I'm waiting for feedback about what would be the best color scheme.

A note on the small cards!
I think the biggest issue with the new client is the small cards. These are not because of my mod. The client has really really small cards. They are terrible and I think a lot of people will complain. Don't complain in this thread, complain to your poker skin. They hopefully will feed back to Microgaming and hopefully they will fix the client.

How the mods are done!
The mods were done with Photoshop. The images for the client are all .png files and Photoshop supports these directly. Rename the .dat file to .png, do the editing and then rename back to .dat. I found that other editors like Gimp, don't save the .png format correctly and cause the poker client to crash, so beware. If you know of any free editors that do the .png files correctly then let this thread know so that we can get more mods happening with free software.

Warning!
I had a few circumstances with editors other than Photoshop, where the graphics file was not saved in the correct .png file format. This caused the cards to be incorrectly displayed in the client. Be very careful when posting mods that you have corrected this.

Having said this, I have not tested every single card in the deck, so please test these mods at the micros (or play money).

Tested on!
Tested on Eurolinx and 32Red.

Future!
I hope to do the following in the future if no-one else does it.
- Table mods
- Copy the sounds from the old client to the new one. The new sounds suck and don't grab your attention.

Have fun and please post all your future mods here!

Have you tried GetPaint.net ? Pretty sure it handles PNG Transparency OK.

Not working on Unibet.

Also Unibet's DECK_XXXX.DAT files can not be opened with Paint, whereas yours can.

any other styles (fonts) available? They're a bit "round" for my taste.

Gabe, does Unibet use the latest software, version 2.40? You can check this in Menu->About in the client. If not then the mods will not work. You need to read the top of my post to find out how to mod your version of the client.

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

I have a zip file with the alert sounds from the old client. The old sounds were much better at grabbing your attention than the new sounds. The sounds replaced are SND_WakeUp.mp3 and SND_InputNeeded.mp3.

The sounds are here:
www.randomsplat.com/pokermods/primaSP40/sounds.zip

Unzip to
C:\Microgaming\Poker\PokerHostMPP\global\PokerGame

Thanks a bunch for these mods! Now if I can just get a bet pot script that works. BTW are hand history imports working for you guys since the update because they don't seem to be for me?

Mine didn't work either. Went to pokertracker forum and downloaded the latest update, I think it was the V2.17.01h patch. Unfortunately I had to take off and never ended up trying out the patch. So basically this post means nothing

I'm not to fussy regarding table mods. I actually like what you've shown on the screen shot of your OP, with the exception of getting rid of the "Eurolinx.com" in the centre of the table (makes is somewhat annoying when I'm in the tiled table size format).

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

It seems kind of hard to get a really good table background, since the player boxes are a dark color.. I like the green/gray combo, its not the greatest, but probably close tot he best that can be done with what you have to workw ith

also, is it possible to modify the dealer button? Its really hard to see

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

Is there a way to mod the felt and carpet background to be all black on black? $10 reward if someone can do this.

Re: New Prima/Microgaming Card Mods

Copy all files to:
C:\Microgaming\Poker\EurolinxPokerMPP\theme\Euroli nxPoker\global\PokerGame

Make sure you reset the table appearance to Default in the poker table options for this to work.

Black felt:

Black Background:

Invisible Eurolinx (all clients) Logo:

Looks like this:
