it took me a hard time to understand how color blinds see the world and how many different types of color blinds there are, but inside this thread i found something very very usefull which helped me a lot and i think it´s worth reposting... don´t have the original post right now but i have the links (A BIG THANKS TO THE ONE WHO POSTED THEM ORIGINALLY!)...
This web page shows you how a web site looks to a color blind (including images!)...
http://colorfilter.wickline.org/
and this web page shows color charts for color blinds...

now about something similar...
i made a color ranking system for player types a long time ago (two years or more
, damn i´m lazy!) for pokertracker and finally
i did it for ftp notes too. i personally don´t like those iconic or rainbow ranking images. normally i narrow it down to three or four colors i use. i think it´s to hard to remember and not eays to recognize using 14 rainbow colors or icons to categorize players. my system is way easier. it uses three colors and three icons to symbolize the combined ranking and this way it provides you the necessary info in an easy way. if you find it usefull feel free to grab and spread it (credits would be nice)...

i will make an enhaced version for color blinds too if someone is interested in...
