Merge does not seem eager to cooperate, so unless a hack of their software is discovered, card mods do not look promising.

That is bad news, was really hoping to get some Waffle Ninja Hybrid cards to add to a Black Raven Theme. Please find a way to do it Bar Nuthin, I will buy it ASAP!

Is there no way to change the table felt/background on bad beat tables or am I overlooking something?

Upper right hand corner, there is a drop down next to "normal/mini". From there you can custom table and card back colors.

I only have that option on normal tables, not bad beat ones.

WolfZaharov explains where the image files are kept and that the .dat files are just .zip files renamed (some are .txt files renamed as .dat).

Editing the files is not a problem after unzipping them and then rezipping them. But when the modified files are placed back into the resources dir and the client is fired up, it just downloads the original files again.

I tried changing the date stamps of the files back to the original dates, but this didn't work.

I also tried modifying the stylesheet.brand.dat (which is a .txt file) to get rid of the logo in the middle of the tables. But same result. The client just downloads the original file.

I tried deleting upgrade_rt.exe ... same result ... it just downloads the original.

If we can figure out how the client "tests" to see if the files have been modified, we might be able to find a work around.

My guess is that it checks the CRC checksum of the file and reports it to the server, and if the CRC does not match, it re-downloads the file. If this is done over the HTTP protocol, it would be a matter of figuring out how to get it to download the file from a different server.

Also maybe you can try to set the file to read-only?
