I have come to the conclusion the program is just naturally laggy when running more the 12 tables no matter how good a machine you have. It's a shame because I really want the vs hero stats on HM2.
The next build we are planning for hopefully next week will not have the performance improvements but the build following that one will. I don't have an ETA yet but we are working very hard to get it released ASAP.

Re: Holdem manager 2 vs 1

I purchased HM2 today and after 5 Hours trying to make it work I give up and email to Hm2 support they replyed they'll get back to me within 24 hours and that the best will be if I try to resolve it on my own.Year ago I run 1 month trial HM1 with no problem. They didn't show much respect for my time.

I believe the automated reply says we will answer 'within' 24 hours. Our typical email reply time is usually around 12 hours. If you PM me your email address I can try to expedite a reply to your email. If you post your problems in our support thread here I might be able to help you if you can give a detailed description of the problems you are having and the build number you are using.

Been thinking if I should upgrade to HM2... I guess I should wait until I see more good feedback on this thread.

HM1 >>>>>>> HM2

If you play SNGs/MTTs and want to see any accurate results and/or graphs, HEM1 is the only way forward.

It's funny you say that. I don't get accurate results for all MTTs and especially, satellites. It is accurate for SNGs though.

Most sites do not write the results of satellites/MTT's in the hand history file or provide a separate summary file. Pokerstars is the only major site that does this.

Any tournament with more than 1 table will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. If your site does not write summaries, or you experience any discrepancies with the results, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit.

Re: Holdem manager 2 vs 1

This thread was started by someone asking for advice to help him decide if it was worth it for him to upgrade from HM1 to HM2 playing micro-stakes cash games. Hopefully people can try to keep it on topic going forward by replying to the OP's questions instead of just interjecting their random quips or technical issues which aren't really related to the OP's questions.

If you are having technical problems I would ask that you post your technical questions in our support thread - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/16...-support-1535/

If you send us the crash log file we can help you fix the problem but without that file being sent to us the problem likely wont go away.

Please reproduce the problem and attach your log.txt file - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

i cant wait for hem 3 release date to be announced, that will mean hem 2 finally works

how to know your business model sucks: once you perfect your product you collect no additional revenue from it and therefore must release something new that doesnt work yet

Re: Holdem manager 2 vs 1

HEM2 has been a nightmare for me from the start. Half the time I can't show hand histories to people while I play because the HH replayer copies a random hand instead of the one i'm looking at. It also crashes frequently. The HuD doesn't properly update when a player leaves and another one sits down (while playing HU, IDK about six max)... so I have to start/stop the hud every time a new player joins.

We've been waiting on this massive update that has been in the works forever now wrt the database I believe, and all other issues have been put on the back burner until that's resolved.

It has been many moons since I purchased the upgrade to HEM2 and I definitely regret that decision.

Re: Holdem manager 2 vs 1

Don't get all the hate. mine works flawlessly. one or two minor bugs but there is no way i would play with hem 1 again and give up all of the extra functionality i have in 2.
