FWIW, those who have said if you want to datamine, just go to FT, that's not really true either. It's actually against their TOS as well.

From http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/site-terms:

8. ... Full Tilt Poker defines an unfair advantage as a user accessing or compiling information on other players beyond that which the user has personally observed through his or her own game play.

There is a guy that offers this service for a monthly fee. You get like 50k HH's a month for whatever buy in level you choose. I had his name in my PM box but when the forums got upgraded old PMs went bye bye.

I've never noticed that before; has Full Tilt made any kind of official stance on their datamining policy? FTP's prohibited software list doesn't include any of the popular datamining tools, table openers, etc. and I don't think they've ever taken any kind of action against people datamining (correct me if I'm mistaken)

That is a horrible size of hands for a $20 fee. I'm offering 140k hands for a $30 fee (5k hands per day for a month) of any limit.

I haven't heard/read anything specifically from them about it, but do they have to? It's in their TOS after all. Personally, I'm not sure the likelihood that they'll be able to catch someone who does, BUT given their proclivity to close accounts without warning and seize funds, I personally don't think it's worth the risk.

The people that mine are also the ones that play tons of tables/hands so I don't think the sites are going to be super interested in banning them. Pretending that they care gives them the best of both worlds.

Doesn't matter if I'm logged in or not. It won't let me open more than 30 tables either way.

Someone help?
01-16-2008 , 08:50 AM
why would i help you open that many tables ... there is no reason that you would need to open that many tables unless you were going to do something that was against the TOS

Can PO also do this for tables which you are not playing on yourself ?

Is there even a Program that allows you to select criteria and datamine all tables fitting that criteria, without needing to participate in all those tables ?

I'd love to know which program could do this. I've got PokerTracer AND PokerOffice, but haven't found out how do to it with those programs though, if anyone could explain me, that would be great !

Thanks !

I just want to open hundreds of tables and take a screenshot of it so I can hopefully be as cool as you. That's all.

Considering the amount of people datamining Full Tilt, the abundance of software for that specific purpose (which they allow, too), and all the posts and discussions all over poker forums about FTP mining... no, I guess they don't have to, but they definitely should, no matter what their TOS say.

It's like "hey don't do it... but we don't care"

So why is PO officially allowed by PS while they explicitly ban datamining?? Makes no sense.
