_dave_,

I actually use a variation of your original multitable (black) mod. I still have your original file.

Re: Collection of pokermods and themes: poker-layout.com

I guess I didn't realize you're just linking to 2+2 on your site. I thought you were hosting them. My bad.

I'm gonna make a new simple .zip at the bottom of the AP thread that you can link to. Should be up shortly.

lol timing. Would you prefer me sending you the .zip or me hosting it in the AP thread and then you can link to it?

Re: Collection of pokermods and themes: poker-layout.com

Just put it in the AP thread and I'll link it like the others - thanks in advance. Now that it's linking not hosting maybe you think about the others or some of them, too?

Yeah as far as I'm concerned you can link to whatever. It's all spread out though and in pieces. This zip I'm gonna post will be a one-step deal.

Big thanks. Aboslutely love the SP Sepia mod for pokerstars. Such gentle and peacefull colors for the eyes.

This mod is not in the preview on your website though, but it is in the Pokerstars mod package.

Re: Collection of pokermods and themes: poker-layout.com

Fozzy, I tried DL'ing the PS cards and they don't show up as a color option at all. Is there a certain file the mod needs to go in at PS? The default shown when I DL'd was C:\Program Files\PokerStars iirc

Edit: I DL'd the 5.4-Gray-Arial.XX.EXE file

Re: Collection of pokermods and themes: poker-layout.com

You must run the EXE after you launch Stars. Then open a table > click the chip rack > Choose Theme > Deck and select Simplified. You have to install the deck every time, after you load up stars. It's a very annoying trait of the stars auto-update to overwrite the simplified cards.

How to stop Stars from overwriting card mods every launch.

Quote:
The shortcut you are using (on your DTop I assume) points to - "C:\Program Files\PokerStars\PokerStarsUpdate.exe" . This makes the stars client overwrite the simplified deck. If you make a new shortcut, pointing to - "C:\Program Files\PokerStars\PokerStars.exe" this will keep the client from updating every time you launch. You will then want to run your old shortcut, perhaps once a month, to get any critical updates.

The spades??? Or the card backs?

The card backs are done by going to the Chip Rack (Table Options) > Deck - and selecting one of 6 different card backs.

There are 2 decks for stars: One has Gray Spades, one has Yellow. Kind of self explanatory, according to the file names.

5.4-Gray-Arial-XX.EXE

5.4-Yellow-Arial-XX.EXE

Do you have 5.4's for Party?

My one and only party mod, that was ported by someone. I think this is 10.8 Arial Font. There are some other decent party cards in that thread. I may try to make some, eventually. I have my hands full for the next 4-8 weeks though.

The card backs are just showing up as grey and black combos....no yellow.

Any idea?

Yes. Stop stars from updating and overwriting the card mods every launch as previously explained, so you don't have to install the deck every time.

or

Make sure you open stars, then run the deck installer (as administrator if u are on vista), Open a table, apply the default deck, then apply the simplified deck.

I prefer method 1.

Actually Sepia is the first mod I have ever used, not for Stars but for Party though. I think it was one from pokermods.com and I'll add it to the site if I find it. Does anyone know the one who made pokermods.com anyway?

You will find the preview for this mod on the Pokerstars section page 2, just scroll to the bottom and click "previous entries".

@Fozzy: Can I add your Party mod?
