Yes, once you've left all of your tables you may convert the hands. Sometimes you will get an error and will have to fix it in the original file. I have found that usually the error occurs when you leave a table while a hand is still going on (that you've already folded). Then you can import them to pt.

Re: Cake Hand History Converter

Has this been updated to include tournaments, specifically 1 table SnG's?

Re: Cake Hand History Converter

I've now been using this for about a month. As long as you don't leave the table while a hand you were dealt into is still going on, this program runs flawlessly. All the numbers match up perfectly, I have had no issues once it is up and running.

Thanks alot for creating this......I'll be sending a thank you donation to one of the addresses you posted earlier!

I guess the only thing better would be setting it up so that it automatically converts them every time you complete a session, without have to do it each time and delete the old HH's. Either way, it only takes a second to do. Thanks again!

Re: Cake Hand History Converter

Anybody have problems with converting hands with split pots? It might be a pokertracker 3 problem though. Converted hand history from what i could tell reads correctly, but when i replay the hand in pt3 it shows the other guy as the winner normally with like trips when we both had hands like AK and it was split. I'd post HH but it pissed me off because my database isn't perfect anymore so i deleted database/saved hand histories.

Re: Cake Hand History Converter

I end up winning this hand. But when importing into PT3 it says i lose and that he hits a K which he doesn't hit. Reckon this is a pt3 issue and not converter?

I checked the original file saved on my hard drive. It is wrong. Why would the original HH be wrong???

Re: Cake Hand History Converter

Dirty,

Remember that Cake doesn't actually show what the real winning cards were if you get it all in before showdown, only the real winning hand. In this case I make up cards so you can't go by what he actually had here. It looks like he actually had KK. But you also said the original HH was wrong. Can you clarify?

Re: Cake Hand History Converter

Auctually, turned out somehow cake saved the wrong HH on my computer. I emailed support and they verified it. Kinda weird but your explanation explains a lot of other problems i've been having.

I haven't looked into this *too* much but I do know that it would sort of be a pain because it appears that the tournament file gets split at some point and the name gets completely changed - so hands could very well be completely out of order. I also don't think it shows the buy in on the second file. Finally, I'm also not sure if it even records how much the person cashed for when they bust. This information is necessary to reconstruct the tournament and summary for PT.

That's a lot of maybe's and caveats - so I don't have any plans to implement support at this time.

Re: Cake Hand History Converter

Cake updated today, got a few error messages (about 10) over 1500 hands but stats seem to be not affected. Will post error messages when i get home.

No - Per the OP, because I have to make up cards in some instances, especially in instances where PokerEV is most useful, it's analysis is basically worthless (although it should *work* per se, you can't take anything away from the results).
