****WSOP Omaha/8 Thread**** Post updates and cheerleading!

Ended going out in 50th place. Was big blind and called a raise and re-raise w/ A23Ks. Coudn't have asked for a better hand to get it in with. At least until the flop came 9TK. Some hope on the turn when I picked up the K high flush draw. Realized that was dead when the flopped straight had the suited Ace.

Was happy with my patience. Had so many unplayable hands. Was happy with being aggressive when I had hands that I could be aggressive with. Biggest mistake was playing a raised hand by Todd Brunson that cost me a bunch of chips. I had 25KKs and called his raise out of the blind figuring that he had the typical Ace low hand that was being raised. Flop comes 7JJ. Figured that my pair of Kings was good. Did not put him on the Jack. When Ten hits on the turn I checked raised him and he re-raised. At that point I picked up the flush draw which hit on the river. Unfortunately he filled jacks full of aces when the ace hit on the river. His dangler on the river cast me a bunch of chips.

I read all the updates on that tourney (I noticed more mistakes than usual in the reporting of the last day). He came back from short stacks/AI's on multiple occasions. Kinda crazy on the FT... I think they had 7 players left with a total of 43 big bets??

From PokerNews just over an hour ago:

Table 351 has Mike Sexton, Brett Richey, Alex Dovzhenko, Chris George and Roland Israelashvili seated at it, amongst others. The table just needed a new deck of cards, and it's their third or fourth since the tournament began.

The table has been warned by the tournament staff and also informed that an extra security camera has been placed on the table to watch the action and see if anyone is deliberating marking cards. We'll be sure to keep an eye on this situation as the table is located just a few feet from our media desk.

Yet another setup has been put into play on Table 351 due to the marking of cards. All of the players seem to be in agreement that no one is doing it on purpose, but it's still causing a problem.

The new decks were just put into play with a new dealer. The new dealer has been instructed to quickly check the backs of all cards as each player folds.

"I guess we're on probation," Chris George joked.
