Can someone explain how taxes & the thing with ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) are handled?
I've read various stuff and can't figure out what's correct and what not.
Here is what i read:
1) ITIN is required and as a non us citizen u can't compete in the wsop etc. (guess/hope this is wrong?)
2) W/O ITIN you are charged 30% taxes on your winnings directly at the cage but can somehow get those back later
3) In case of a bigger cash the wsop staff helps filling out the required documents.

Just stuff that i read, if you have some experience with that and could share it i would appreciate that!

I'm pretty determined to make my required weight (6-7 pounds to go in a bit less than a month) so I'm reasonably confident in saying I'll be there. Probably coming in Sunday before 1500 WSOP PLO8 and leaving Friday. It's only a 2-3 day event, I'm assuming...
