Just seems like too big a pot not to participate in if we can do it with only a small risk of busting.
How do you see it playing out that we win/cash with <1.75BB back and .5B of that in the SB (<2.25BB eff)?

By 'playable' I mean we can actually make decisions... I don't mean 'chip and a chair' or we 'get lucky' and still cash or win

Hey guys, don't wanna start a new thread so I am going to ask my questions here, because it's similar.

From $1.50 18man NLO8, 600/300/50 level.
We are ITM 3 of us left, I have around 5.5k chips, other player has about 3.5k, and the third one the rest. The player with 3.5k goes sit out. Chip leader starts shoving ATC.

- I like his play, I think I would had done the same if I were in his position. Do you think that his strategy is correct against any player in this situation?

- I instantly decided that I am going to fold all hands before the sit-out guys busts, and then shove ATC. The equities run very close so I reasoned that it's better to take 100% chance of getting at least second. Since I assumed that he'll keep shoving, it's going to take just a few orbits before the other guy busts. Is this correct play here?

shoving atc in omaha is a cute idea

if the structures haven't changed then villain's got about 18k so shoving here seems fine with afc, and it's probably fine for you to fold assuming it still pays 40/30/20/10 like it did the last time i played 18's

If Villian is playing good, he will walk the sitting out player a few times, to make sure he busts you first, or the two of you on the same hand.

If you think he is planning on that, call off first 30%+ hand, otherwise fold everything but top 15% hands until you are HU imo.

deadpeddler that's a really smart idea, thanks for your comment.

But in this situation, I was in position relative to chip leader, so had he folded his BU I would steal the chips of sit out guy.
