Diamond PLO8 in Vegas now?

Just wanted to get an update on the status of PLO8 right now. Is is true that the game rarely runs, and it is mostly BigO? If that's the case, what are the buyin ranges for each game, and is there a mandatory straddle on either game? Is the Venetian getting any PLO8 action? Heading out there next week, and just wanna see what to expect.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: PLO8 in Vegas now?

No PLO8 running that i have seen so far, just a list usually, check out the bravo poker app for latest games in town. 1/2 big O is $100 to $500 buy in and straddle is $5 or $10 on the button and has a $5 bring in, usually. $5/5 big O is $200 min and no max and has straddle (mississippi for $10 to $20) and no max buy in and runs every day along with the 1/2 big O. $5/10 big O is $400 min and no max and straddle is usually 20 to 25. Last night they ran a short handed $5/10 NLO8 game for most of the night too. I know they ran a 25/50/100 big O game at least a night or two and now that the big crew from Dallas is here now they may fire that one up again. GL and play well bro

Re: PLO8 in Vegas now?

$6 per half hour for 1/2, $7 per half hour for 5/5 and i think its $8 per half hour for $5/10. Venetian is a great spot to play for rake/shuffle machine/comps, but its gonna be tough to have softer lineups than the Rio and not sure if game will go much there. Palms was running a great promo for Big O game before the WSOP also, with a great new poker room right in front of the huge TVs in the sportsbook. Also, the Bravo Poker app in handy too.

Aria is saying that a 100-200 big-o has been running for some of the night on twitter.

Why not just go to the Rio? Aren't they running 08 games like crazy?

Thanks for the clarification on the $1/2 vs $5/5 BigO, I was about to ask the difference. Determining which game was better I guess would depend on the players, so I will try them both out.

Next question, what is this $10/10 Big Easy game now showing up on Bravo the last couple days?

Thanks
Andy
