PLO8 / NLO8 MTT challenge thread
I was chatting with some other plo8 players in the 11r on stars today, and we were discussing having a challenge to see who could have the highest ROI over a pre determined period of time or over x number of tourneys.
So we agreed to make this thread to settle on terms of the challenge.
My thoughts were:
All PLO8 and NLO8 MTTS on stars with 46+ runners and under $50 buy in count (so it can be easily tracked on OPR)
The challenge would run for either 1 month, or maybe 50 tourneys...
The winner of the challenge would be based on ROI, not total profit.
The cost to enter will be $100 USD, and the payouts will be determined prior to the challenge starting and based on number of entrants.
please feel free to reply with any suggestions and any interest in participating.
Cheers, Naps555

Re: PLO8 / NLO8 MTT challenge thread
sounds like fun. Would be in if i was rolled for $2.20s currently but im not so keep it updated to keep me somewhat in the action.
My 2 cents to the bet would be that 100 mtt's or even just 50 would be a very luck based "challenge". Better to go for overall winnings in within a month so ppl can push luck with hard work/high volume. Just my opinion.
gl guys!

Re: PLO8 / NLO8 MTT challenge thread
this who will have higher roi basically is who will win 1$ MTT I think this should be based on profit within some buy in range.

only problem is some ppl can play much higher volume than others, so it can be on based on profit, but would have to have a buy in range, and over X number of tourneys to be fair to everyone involved

Re: PLO8 / NLO8 MTT challenge thread
The mtt schedule is the same every day...i mean it shouldn't be too hard.
My suggestion:
2 or 4 weeks in length starting on a Monday
All O8, PLO8, NLO8 mtts <$56 (this can be lower if you like...maybe <$34)
Satellites don't count
Scored by total profit
Majority of the games are up to $33, probably would be a good starting point.
You could also just nominate certain games that run everyday...say 4 or 5 a day for 2-4 weeks
