Which NLH MTTs bankroll % would you need to play PLO8 and NLO8 MTTs? I know my question is quite approximate but I just want to have an idea, thanks

It's a tricky question as it depend on many factors.

The two most important factors are firstly how good you are secondly what buy ins your playing.

There is a slightly worrying trend at the moment of o8 mtt prize pools on stars being substantially down from where they are normally.

This is normal in the spring summer and could be partly because of scoop.

If you are playing <$55 I think and are good you could get by on a relatively small bankroll. If you want to include the weekly $215 this is going to increase variance a lot as the buy ins are big relative to the size of most o8 prize pools.

The most I have ever down swung playing all o8 + some small plo and mixed games is around 3k-4k. Although I think this may be fairly untypical.

A good starting point is 3%-5% or 20-30 buy-ins, depends which way you choose to look at it. When/if moving up stakes, you'll probably want to be at 40-50 buy-ins so that you have a decent cushion to absorb an initial downswing a lil better.

100x your abi if u want to never go broke should do it (assuming you are a winning player of course)

I think around 2k is fine to play upto $33s on stars but if you want to plays 55s and 82s 3-4k should be sufficient. I think all my downswings have been about 2k, its really all down to how good you are and the fields tho.

Atm stars traffic is terrible from scoop and i find most 22s are just 80% regs.

If your playing on other sites tho you can get away with less bankroll management
