Hi!
Is there any possibility that we could have an own poker books (and articles too) forum here at O8? I mean, we are playing a '"boutique game" and are drowned by others in other forums, for example in the books forum. I would need inspiration to read more.

How about a studying group? We could pick an interesting chapter in an O8 book and discuss what we feel we are learning from it, even discuss that if it can make our game worse at the level we are playing if we follow the advice...

You got me thinking about it.

Start a thread if you like. Maybe you'll get some responses. There are several authors who read this forum.

I am all for a "book containment thread". Hopefully that would stop the semi-monthly new thread "hey guise I'm a noob what book should I read to learn O8".

Actually I think it will just make it more annoying when they ask anyway, despite the thread being on page one.

At least we'll have somewhere to send them though.

Thanks for this Buzz! I was in the making the Books and Publications forum my "shortcut" forum for the next month or so, but I´m better let things be as they are. O8 still pops up first! I´m planning, though, to scan the entire Books and Publications forum, to get the maximum "impression"

Hope to share impressions in the future, but I have to work on the "substance" now, that is, in addition to doing the scanning, actually reading books, not "only" "pick" from here and there.
