This is literally my first hand at the table the only thing I know for sure is button is a solid player everything else is unknown

I agree for the most part, but if the action goes something like bet, fold, "solid" button raises, I'm not so sure we should 3-bet. He shouldn't be limping in with a lot of 66/K8 type hands that we can get value from, so the raise lends itself to either top set or combo low/straight/flush type hands that we don't love to see. I see more value in waiting for a decent turn card to either fire out of c/r depending on our read on villain in that scenario.
