Re: New and old PokerStars VPP/hand rates for PLO8, NL08 and fixed limit O8.

So since I'm too lazy to read 4+ pages of this thread, can anyone answer this simple question - is it better for a high volume player to play at PokerStars with their rewards program or at FTP with RB? This purely speaks to the amount of cash back you will receive. I play anywhere from 30-50K hands in an average month. Any insight is helpful - I have long considered taking up playing the majority of my hands at Stars again, but RB seems too good to give up.

wackjob - If you are playing at PL50/100, then you'd probably make SN, which is very similar rb to FTP's 27+FTPs+Ironman. If you got 200k, it'd probably be worth to switch. Dont think you'd make it with 30k hands per month, you'd probably make it with 50k per month

This leads me to think that perhaps a switch is in order then since it seems Party has more games and more donators?

You mean PS? (not Party) I think PS has more regs and is generally slightly tougher than FTP

Yes, I meant Stars. There are lots of regs in the PL50, PL100 games on FTP. Lots of regs in the 1/2 - 8/16 FL as well.

Bump.

Threads older than February 1 are to be automatically archived next month in preparation for an upgrade. I'm bumping all 2+2 threads cited in our two stickies that are not already archived so that they will not be lost to us.

This includes all the wells.
