Are there hands you fold pre? Seems like you can raise/call any hand... besides very low 4 of a kind starting hand.

Seems like if you are a very good at limit, you can get away with playing 100% of hands in hu... any hu experts want to chime in?

I'm no expert but I'd say some low pair and 2 unconnected cards, lets say 22Q7 , 338K , hands like that I don`t think are good enough to call or raise with.

I'll raise(or limp ip) with just about anything except the trashiest of trash. Of course, opponent, game flow, etc all play a part.

maybe if u got a huge skill edge vs your opponent you can play close to 100% hands,especially OTB,but if its just a regular match w an at least reasonable villain,i dont see what good can be playing unpaired middling card hands like 68TKr,2789r etc..

Also offsuit hands with no low draw would be another good dumping candidate like 3KQ9,59JK etc.

I would openraise 85%! But the much more interesting question is, with what are you going to defend and what cards are you reraising!?!

Anyway I probably would never play it, since I´d always expect nowadays, that villain would crazyact like Iseldur and baller/reraise with every s...it, with the result of a nervous breakdown on my site and a massive rakegain for the pokersite.

when hu playing lo8 first gto then when you learn the players tendencies adjust openraising range, defending range, openlimp range, openfold range. 3rd adjust postflop play according to how they play, but generally play str8 up. Kinda more about who makes less mistakes in all of the hu lo8 matches I've had.
