My goals for this month are pretty much the same as last month but if the world ends on the 21st of December then I guess I'm stuffed.

I need to improve my ROI's up to somewhere near most of you guys. Current are NLHE -16%, PLO +61% and PLO8 0%. I need my game to keep improving and stop making stupid mistakes at crucial times in MTT's.

I also hope this cooler I'm on ends soon or I'll need psychotherapy.

To all of those who helped me through the year whether it was with helpful comments or sarcastic digs I thank you .

Made it a goal of mine to play 50 000 combined SNG/MTTs next year (counting on stars adding some higher stakes NLO8 hypers to make this more worthwhile). Going to prep myself for this by trying to play 5000 SNG/MTTs in December.

Wow 50k games seems extremely high to me. It is hard to get an average of 25 games / hour buyin 7+ during peak time (without hypers). Gl for your goal!

Hypers will likely make up a large portion of the games played. I"ll basically be playing every NLO8 sng and mtt that runs above 7$ while I'm playing as well as some 3.50s when traffic is low and the occasional PLO8 mtt. I'll probably start playing some PLO8 sngs also.

Just checked the Math and to make that number of games you would need to multi table at least 16 games for a period of 14 hours a day every day of the year.
That would be some feat and I can't see it happening but it's better to have a goal you can't attain than none at all.

GL with your goal, Juicy. I came to a conclusion that you need around 140 SNGs (20 SNGs per hour for 7 hours) per day (with just under 350 days to do it). I think 150 per day is a better pace to go for, as you only need 333 days to do it.

150 a day is definitely doable, you're going to need some instant noodle-like lunches or something you can prepare near-instantly.

I think it's also important to note that traffic is highest on weekends, so Saturday and Sunday combined are probably worth 2.5 days and a day like Monday might be worth 0.8 days, etc.

I definitely think its doable. I have played roughly 500 games in the last 2 days without really pushing myself that hard. The biggest thing for me is I need to get up earlier so more of my sessions take place during peak hours.

Not really worth arguing about but if you place a time limit of 3-4 hours on an MTT and 1-2 hours on a SnG (providing you make the FT) then you will see your figures are not even close.

Anyway it doesn't matter it is still a hell of a lot of games to play and I wish him luck.

Mtt's obviously don't help much to get the volume but will bring you $$$. As i said i get like 25 games / hour by playing everything 7+ (without hypers) During peak times. Imo juicy need to reach 200 games a day when playing to have a realistic chance. And no weekends don't have the highest traffic!

Edit. The problem I notice is that playing sessions > 4hours especially without having 5 min breaks every hour is really exhausting.

I played over 5000 O8 SNG's last month without playing peak times and without straining myself (140 hours) so 50,000 in a year is very achievable. Perfect goal imo - gives you 10 months full time and 2 months holiday.

Decided to play a hole month off mtt's on stars (will post results at the end of the month), and move some of my lifting bars next to me , so each time i dont cash out in a mtt i have to lift x).

My december goal is 3k hypers but its closer to a dream but a plan considering how lazy i am

December Goals:

[ ] 15,000 hands PLO25/PLO50
[ ] 1,000 O8 Turbo SNG's
[ ] 2,000 O8 Hypers
[ ] 3 WEEKS NO BOOZE!!!!

Considering that from 3pm-10pm GMT+1 i usually get 120-150 7$ Hypers, its easy
to get a 5k volume with reasonable hours. Plus when 3 regs are on the registration
and volume sometimes gets way to fast, can't imagine what happens when 4-5
regs would register...

You will probably need to take at least one day off a week to relax and replenish your batteries or you take the risk of burning yourself out in the first couple of months.

Anyway I'm sure you will work out the best way to do it and we will all be interested in the results.

The point I was making about multitabling 16+ tables is that if you sign on for ten tourneys per hour you could (theoretically) be multitabling 30 tables in the third hour. The only time you will be playing ten tables is in your first hour but I'm sure you know more about that than me as I have never played that many tables at once.

I like Bob's format for goals. Here are mine (in order of importance):

[ ] Apply to at least 100 jobs during the month and land a job by January 31, 2013.
[ ] Play in 3 FTOPS events and pledge to never have more than $250 on FTP at a time.
[ ] Play the $5.50 PLO8 +R on Stars at least 15 times this month. Trying to do this so I can play around 20 MTTs each day I do play it. I've been averaging around 2 MTTs a day for a while now, so gotta bring that up.
[ ] Clear my current Stellar Bonus on Stars before the year ends without playing any cash games. Currently at 15.8k VPPs on the year, another 4182 rewards me with $50.
[ ] Finish the book I am currently reading (Drive: How to Succeed in Business and In Life by Robert Herjavec). 70/295 so far.
[ ] Find a new TV show to watch and complete the first season of it. At the moment, I think it'll have to be Mad Men, which has 13 episodes x 50 minutes.
