Ive played several plo8 tourneys, but this summer Ill be playing in 3 Big O tourneys 6, 7, and 8 max. What strategy adjustments should I be making from plo8 to Big O?

PLO8 i play almost nitty early, and hope for the double up, (which would occur with my nut nut type hands) I open up my game a little more in the mid to late stages, stealing more and taking down more pots.

I have never actually played big o.... (it almost never runs cept during the series here) and it doesn't run online either. PLO8 i play about 2k hands a day 3-5 days a week now used to be 6 days a week.

Thanks in advance.

I've played a lot of cash Big O at Hawaiian Gardens in SoCal.

Play a lot like O8. Look for 3 connected low cards starting with A/2. Preferably more double suited with run downs.

There's not a huge difference between O8 and Big O. Just play tighter in the beginning like you would online.

and look at your hand when the pot starts getting big. if it isnt the nuts be prepared to see it.

Play hands that will draw to the nuts. Nut flushes and be careful of baby boats. It's even a more post flop game than PLO8.
