I know what you mean. We have some equity when we bet so its not an outright bluff.

Its clear I need to get away when faced with aggression more easily - no curiosity or inkling call downs with the third nuts. I am pretty sure that is my big leak at the moment and its why I didn't want to bet here - I didn't want to fold to a raise.

I think that is good advice to follow, at least in general.

You need to recognize the distinct difference between having the third nuts for low, and various third nut hands for high. For example, when the board is 882QK and Hero holds (Q3)(Q2), (Q3)(Q2) is quite a strong hand although only the third nuts for high. But when the board is 567JK and Hero holds (Q3)(Q2), (Q3)(Q2) is a very weak third nut hand for low.

It's a fixed-limit game. Be careful of following what might be good advice for pot-limit when the game you're playing is a fixed-limit game.

I wouldn't want to be raised either - but in a fixed-limit game, I would not, in general, plan on folding to a raise. I think folding without the nuts when raised, in general, is bad Omaha-8 poker and puts Hero in a position to be easily exploited by aggressive opponents.
