yuri i have played with you a bunch of times recently, you seem to be putting in some impressive volume i was wondering how many games you get through in a week ?

somewhere in this forum zuri was looking for a volume prop bet, he was talking about playing around 1500 stts a week. this morning he was playing nearly every ko going!

Seriously, 1500? Do that many even run? What buyin level?

If anyone is interested in ROI bets, we could easily bet vs BoP. Much less hassle to verify.

Well 1500 would be pretty tough. I played 100 SnG's today Buyin 1.5-7 in around 5 hours (with a break). Züri is able to play even more tables then me, but yeah there didn't run many more Sng's...
I challenged myself today, I want to play another 500 Sng's by the end of month.

How many tables can you play simultaneously?

Today i probably played around 20 peak was maybe at 25 and i felt really comfortable. But i should use the SnG opener. When I play 15 Buyin as well then i usually stop at around 15 tables. A 5 min break every hour or every 2 hours would help a lot for me to do really big sessions.

hey guys:

The 1500 sngs in a week were playing 18man turbos only. This would be close to impossible playing K.O's. Not only do they take slower to fill, i can also tell u that playing 14 HU's at the same time with slow structure is no fun and since the payouts are 50-30-20 u need to be able to play at least close to optimal there.

Yesterday i was trying to get games going in the KO's again since i feel like the Omaha8 Community is giving up some edge by letting these games die slowly. The BOTP winners a fiew months/years back almost exclusivly came from knockout grinders and there is good reasons for this.
Turbos just have way more swings. Yes it's possible to win the low Orbit playing these and if u run super well it's also possible to win the high one but overall the K.O's have to be the way to go.

I was HU in 12 $7 in a row yesterday just to show how much easier it is to get some points in.

The cool thing about the KO's nowadays is that u can register for as many as u want. So i usually just register for about 20 of every buy in level there is and hope ppl will join. Little trick there: close all lobbys after registering since the lobby will pop up after u're done if u don't. And if u have close to 30 tables running this will kill you trust me.
I'm not sure if you can do this in the settings ( like tell stars to auto close lobby ), at least i haven't found it yet.

The thing is: if your playing 18man u need to constantly be registering ( or have like table ninja which messes up my PC ). At some point you will have troubles to register for more ( since i tile tables and not stack them ) and it will be close to impossible closing all the lobbys.

To answer Spudhead ( i assume u meant zuri not yuri ):

18man turbos:

with breaks 200+ is not a big deal. I'd totally go with Prophili there: if they had breaks like they do in mtt sngs i'd pull 400 a day for sure. I don't have problems grinding 16+ hours 6 days/week but i need to use the bathroom, i need to eat and so on. The fact there is no break is actually very annyoing to me since if u're playing outside peaktimes as well u will always wonder if u should keep registering since it takes quite some time to fill them but if they had breaks i would just keep registering for sure.

K'Os:

these days ( thx to BF ) i'd say if ur work ethic is really good u could get 150-200 games in per day. But i'll tell u in about 15 hours since i will soon start to mass register again

@thret:

i mentioned before that im not interested in roi bets for the simple reason that i feel like im giving up money regardless of winning such a bet or not.
I'm sure my roi would close to double if i played a lot less tables but as we all know it's all about hourly maybe someone that plays less volume would to this with you.

i hope this answers most. if not: feel free to ask and now

gl at the tables

P.S. marky doesn't run to well for now so join the games! just kidding m8, sucks we couldn't chat a little more yesterday and hope ur doing well

Advanced Multi-Table Options, uncheck Auto-open SNG lobby, you should never have to see them.

So how many tables do you play? I struggle to play more than 20 non-holdum tables.

well it is unchecked but that's not what i meant. lobby shouldn't even be visible in the pokerstars folder at the bottom.

i play close to 40 if i play 18man turbos.

Zuri how do you tile 40 tables? I guess you have two (at least) monitors.

I hear what you say about the ko,s, I played a bunch last couple of days.

Just re-read your post, do you open the tourney lobby to register? you do know you can register straight from the right hand side of the client, underneath the tourney lobby?

I do this and dont have any lobby pop-ups at all.

Yeah, I don't know how he's getting lobby pop-ups.

FYI zuri 40+ tabling holdem I find it a lot easier to stack rather than tile, switching to tile when I get down to 16 or so. YMMV but the fact that you don't have to move the mouse as far really helps. I'm impressed if you are playing that many O8's though, well done.

sry still playing so pretty short answers:

yea more then 1 monitor. i have 3 but mostly only use 2.
Oh thx for this, i never registered down there since i used to love clicking to the diff. sngs to game select faster, but you're right there is no lobby pop up this way ( there is if u click directly on the sng ).

The reason i don't like stacking is that i feel like i want to see what ppl call me with if i open shove f.e. This can be the most important thing later in the sng ( knowing who is gonna call you light and so on ). This becomes more important in Omaha8 since there is a lot of split pots and ppl will stay in the sng or you will so can get an instant read on them.

It's obv way more comfortable stacking but i feel like im giving up edge which i do a lot anyway mass tabling and i don't feel like a rakeback grinder

thing is if you play a million tbls like zuri sometimes you have to take a lot of thinnish gambles so you can keep your sanity/not time out from all the tbls...
so if ur playing 8 or less maybe pass the aq26
but since ur obv. playing like 20 then call and try to run good

I just drag them out to see, then ctrl-8 to click the tables back into place. I don't tile until I get down to 16 tables.

      just tried it:

way more comfortable but that was the last time. never ran worse in anything in my life before and had the biggest downswing sngwise in 4 years of poker.

I guess they can give u more bad beats when u actually don't see them. The ones i saw were usually AAXX on the bubble.

i run really bad ( constantly around 800 points after 100 ) for around 3k games now. but now its like this:

i limp A234ds flop comes KKJ
i shove A23Kds guy has AAKJ which obv scoops
      i shove AA23 guy calls with A59Q flop 234

lost 37 all ins in a row never crushed mostly crushing. I do fine on all othes sites. Sucks but im thinking about withdrawing all my stars money and closing the account.
