I was hoping we could have on mega-thread where members can just post their SNG hands and have instant feedback rather than having a bunch of short threads.

Buzz, if you want to edit the title of anything, feel free to do so.

I'll start with this hand. What is your shoving range here? Is AJJ3 with a suited A in your range? How different does your range change if this is a full table (9 handed)?

why would you post results?

In my opinion since you are UTG you are raising here no matter what. If you raise a standard 3 x bb you are only leaving yourself 7 behind if someone else shoves and I don;t think you would be folding it anyway. There is no way you are folding this hand so I think a shove here is perfectly fine.

Showing you what kinda hands we're getting called on this particular day. Maybe in 6 months time, you won't get looked up with these hands. I feel like both are probably a bit light, thats just my opinion.

Another hand.

Can't see this being a fold and if you call ti doesn't leave a lot behind should the flop come out really bad. However the starting hand seems strong enough to me where you could be 3/4ing someone most of the time.

This hand is a fold...blinds are only 100/200...you dont want to 3 way all in for your tourney life here. Be the shover not the caller

I think its pretty close actually.

Opponent dependant for me. I'm getting it in vs randoms...and some regs

I'm the worst O8 SNG player ever but I agree calling here seems pretty -EV. THough like anything could be opponent dependent.

Yes in general, I agree but at some point, calling is a better option than waiting for a better spot.

I think this hand is close but I'm leaning towards a call...

If you think its a fold, are you only calling aa2x or ak23 in this spot?

I think that's too tight especially in 18mans

This A2Q6 is a snap fold, in a 3way pot you rate to have about 30-35% equity. You rarely scoop, and often get quarter or none.

What equity do we need to call here?

^ Not sure exactly, but the vicinity of 33% does not seem appealing. Also, you would want to know the chances of getting eliminated (the equity figure by itself doesn't tell you that). I'd probably want to see closer to 50% equity to ship it here (just based on feel, not any maths).

Gonna post a few more hands from my current session.

Hand #1:

What kinda equity does this hand here? I think I'm supposed to fold, but I've seen some players that I respect place a high value on KK double suited.

I got no history with the BB but my question is about ICM... should I fold this hopping ITM or play the hand to double up and go for the win?

I'm shoving this. SB and BB are not gonna call you too light as you can put a dent into their stacks. If CO and BB's stacks were reversed, it would be closer.

Quick question, do people actually make a profit (pre-rakeback) at the $3.00+40c? 13% rake is pretty darn steep and you would need a large number of fish in the player pool to overcome that.

It's horrible, and even good players have leaks. You could push with it if you have reasonable FE, but calling with it is generally a no-no.

The $1.50 + $0.25s have 16.7% rake too. I'm not logged into sharkscope right now, but I think I have about 20-25% ROI in the $1.75s (over a 500+ game sample) and have fixed some leaks and probably have 15-20% ROI in the 3.40s as well. These ROIs #s are all post-rake obviously.

The players are pretty awful at both levels. Even the 6.50s, you'll be surprised at the kinda hands you get called with which is why I continue to open-shove aces at the earlier levels.

Of all the KKXX hands, the only one I would consider calling with is KK23, but wouldn't do it juts because it's only Level I.

In your opinion, how high/low is KK23 on your personal hand ranking? Say blinds are 200/400/25 with 7 left (18 man SNG) and you SB with 8k shoves into your BB, where you have 5000.

Would you prefer KK23 or A2KX, etc? Assuming you had two-king high hearts in both hands.
