It's a gutter or a small wrap, right? 4 outs twice to a straight that can still lose when paired at best. 9 outs to a wheel at worse. Only two backdoor flushes are possible as well since Hearts are covered.

A 3! on flop makes sense. If Villain caps, who cares as that doesn't really change our read on his hand. In fact, it likely narrows it to a 9 out scenario.

Even if he has 2345, its the same story really.

Someone said to look to check raise the turn if a wheel card doesn't come. But a loose passive player will never bet the turn if a wheel card doesn't come.

I'll post what he had and the rest of the hand for you guys:

Spoiler:
i just call the flop raise, obviously concerned about the freeroll.

Turn T, check bet call

River T, I fail to donk and he checks back with...

T322 w/ one suit

I was as shocked as you guys likely are: it was his first three bet ever in O8 for as long as we played. And obviously if we knew he had crap like this, we're happily raise as we have bottom set w/ a live 3 draw killed. Not to mention he checked back a full house (albeit w/ no low), which shows how passive this guy is.

Had you been raising a lot and making him frustrated?

Yes on the raising, unsure on the frustrated. Essentially the table is him, SB (nit), BB (fellow loose passive with more enigmatic postflop), myself, and CO (a bit of a LAG). I'm by far the most aggressive one entering the pot here.

Even if he was frustrated at me, spazzy 3 bets weren't normally in his Arsenal.
