I bought mine with cash, and I paid a commission as you mentioned, but the tradeoff was that this method did not require bank info, passport, or anything of that nature, and it was fairly quick.

In terms of paper trails, it was recommended to use this method, and also to create an extra wallet. Transfer the funds from your exchange wallet (for example Blockchain.info) to this other wallet (for example Circle) before depositing. This can probably still be tracked, but it is just what I was recommended by people in the Bovada/Ignition cashout thread.

The bitcoin sites require verification in EU (prob everywhere) for transaction over a certain amount - this also unlocks the best rate on smaller amounts, allows larger buy/sell and other things

If u want to cash out $1k in coins to your bank account u need to verify. You may as well do it now because verified sellers profit when selling coins. The coins are "cash", so u don't always need to cash out to a bank account but if u don't, u risk it all if somebody hack or phish your wallet

If u really need OPSEC u should always use a tumbling service. It means the entire network funds your transaction instead of just u, so always secure

Within your own 2 wallets u can improve OPSEC by manually generating a new bitcoin address for each transaction or making a block (10,000+) of addresses on each wallet

If I spend $100 on bitcoin (exc promo) and pay 10% to get money in my account and withdraw, I need ROI of 11% to break even

How do I play cash with rake or even SnG with rake (max ROI 15-20% on 9-player games??) and make any money? I wouldn't take those odds on PokerStars. So with bitcoin I can only justify playing MTT unless the ACR field is bad enough to guarantee crushing all games at higher rate than the biggest winners on Stars

The 1st deposit bonus makes up for it I guess but after that ....

There's a lot of loose plo8 games on Ignition from the $1/2 to $5/10 bb level. I don't play below that so I can't speak to the volume of the low to microstakes games. Full tables don't show up in the lobby so there's often many more games than appear at first glance. Withdrawals are fast with bitcoin and so-so with other methods.

The fees aren't as bad as you're thinking. You don't pay a 10% fee for everything, unless you're depositing/withdrawing after every game or something crazy. And also there are ways to get up to 40-50% flat rakeback on everything and a smaller but softer ring game pool (I'll be testing this out soon) or a chance at up to 100% and even higher rakeback (Already tested this, tried and true ) but this depends how you end up in snc/beast rankings.

Also you can swap funds between stars/acr or certain other wpn skins here on 2p2 but it's recommended to at least make 1 small deposit first yourself and make sure you're verified to transfer/withdraw. I've heard of a few people having to make 2 or 3 deposits first, but might be because they used different methods or did something wrong idk. This withdraw/transfer verification can be a different process from being verified to deposit, especially if you run up a decent BR from a small deposit. I learned the hard way lol

Lastly, don't keep huge amounts on these kind of sites. Try to maintain a playable BR but don't expose yourself to too much risk just because you want to play the occasional high stakes o8 cash games. These sites could go down at any time.

Pokerstars has Limit, Pot Limit, and No Limit O8. Plenty of tournaments and cash games compared to other sites. I just play O8 on Pokerstars only.

At least tournament competion on party is a joke. First time in a while i really see an edge over a tournament field. Sometimes feels like 8-game on stars in early levels when you always have 1-2 or players who have absoultly no clue and maybe missclicked that tourney.
