Anyway of just buying these videos without buying a complete subscription?
Before CR/Stox, my initial plan was to put them as a pay per play on my website, but that is obviously against our agreement now.

I was told higher stakes games go on CR, and lower ones on Stox. The first one I did is a $60 SNG and it is on stox, so most I'm sure will be on there.

PLO8 SNG strategy, PLO8 SNG endplay, NLO8 Cash shortstacking math/play, NLO8 Deepstack play, Common PLO8 mistakes, PLO8 cash shorthanded play, PLO8 cash for beginners, PLO8 cash / advanced, and PLO8 H/U SNG strategy.

Does anyone have any other concepts that they would be particularly interested in?

There are very few PLO8 video's and training on any of the major sites, and I'm excited to produce a good series. I have learned a great deal from this forum and appreciate your support.

How about a video on playing AAxx in LO8 and PLO8? It seems to be a common question in the forum.

If you think that the hold'em games haven't improved as a result of training videos being available then you're smoking something.

I agree it might be a good thing "right now" for like a minute, and then it will become a bad thing.

I would like to see a discussion of single table PLO8 stts contrasted with PLO8 mtts contrasted with PLO8 cash six handed contrasted with PLO8 cash full. They seem to me to be very different games. At least my results indicate as much!

I think it took a very long time and a lot of videos and books for hold'em to become tough. I don't know that PLO8 will every reach that point where the availability of info will become detrimental. Although increasing the size of the player pool will definitely be a good thing.

I posted this in the Cardrunners/Stox forum. But it probably makes more sense to post it here:

Like predator, I'm going to be doing a PLO8 video series for Stox. The first video is in the can and is tentatively scheduled to come out on Sept 23.

My series will focus more on the basics and be geared primarily to 6-max and full ring cash. It's going to be an 8-10 video series. The first video covers the basics, and then it will move on to starting hand concepts, preflop play, postflop play (at least 2 videos), and then tournaments. There will be a mix of lecture/PowerPoint stuff, going over hands in a replayer, and playing.

Let me know if there are any specific things you would like to see covered.

I love to see this book out to teach the fish at least that this game is out there. Unfortunately, I fear, the US market is gonna be closed soon, so maybe this book can be re-printed in 2+ years.

<1% chance of u.s. market being closed. imo, it's more likely that it gets chopped up by state. i hope, however, for nationwide legalization.

nlhe cash has a lot of game theory strategy built on a foundation of math. if you can't understand and implement the game theory part, you'll struggle to do well beyond 1/2 (or so).

big bet o8 cash, however, can generally be played at break even or better with a predominantly math-based strategy. game theory elements are mostly icing on the cake.

i think i can teach an intelligent, analytic, disciplined person how to be a rakeback pro in big bet o8 in one week or less. being a winning player wouldn't be out of the question. i can't say the same for nlhe.

due to this, i think that a really good plo8/nlo8 cash book would be VERY bad for the games. that being said, videos are not equal to books in terms of exhaustiveness, so i don't think we need to worry about pred's videos. furthermore, some (many?) of his videos will be on tourney strategy. for various reasons, i think the tourney videos will actually be good for both the big bet o8 tourney scene AND cash scene.
