It is official. Some of you may already know, but today I received my contract from Cardrunners/Stox as a PLO8 video coach. The first video is complete and will be out next month. I have committed to do 10 videos on the following topics:

PLO8 SNG strategy, PLO8 SNG endplay, NLO8 Cash shortstacking math/play, NLO8 Deepstack play, Common PLO8 mistakes, PLO8 cash shorthanded play, PLO8 cash for beginners, PLO8 cash / advanced, and PLO8 H/U SNG strategy.

Does anyone have any other concepts that they would be particularly interested in?

There are very few PLO8 video's and training on any of the major sites, and I'm excited to produce a good series. I have learned a great deal from this forum and appreciate your support.

A little education can only help this niche game. As we've learned from hold 'em, just because there's info out there doesn't necessarily mean people will play better. And right now, it's more an issue of getting people to play 08 than having too many good players.

congrats. go easy on game theory. i'm looking forward to it and probably be looking at them before 2010 WSOP.

i for one, know that poker videos/podcasts/interviews that disperses information IS NOT GOOD for winning players. mostly because i've become a much much better player. hahahah. pointing me in the right direction is helping my win rate at the expense of others who have won without these videos.

Ugh, really upset to hear this news overall, but definitely congrats to Predator. I had briefly entertained the idea of doing vids for LeggoPoker a while back but decided against it. I'll probably get a subscription just to see the videos though.

This. Not too worried about it -- the new players should outweigh the improvement we face.

I'll be interested in seeing the videos and will be holding out on my 3-day trial until they come out.

Oh and of course congrats and gl pred, you've earned it and have bank and street cred to carry this.

This is neat, I finally have a reason to waste some FTP points on a Cardrunners subscription.

"NLO8 Cash shortstacking math": I always felt you could accurately put everything you need to know about this on a cocktail napkin.

If you play at FTP you can earn a free sub to stox by earning 3k FTPs in a month. they also give credit for partial amounts: 750 = 1 week, 1500 = 2 weeks, etc.

The HU and Cash SnG are most intresting in my opinion because both are available to play even when short in time (unlike full ring SnG which takes X3-4 time then HU match).

'short-stacking nl math', oh god, here we go... What can be worse for the big bet O8 community, than educating the masses on this subject? Perhaps a better approach is to do a video on how to effectively counter the nl SSers.

I'd appreciate some basic help on bubble play in SNGs and tournies..shouldnt upset the regs too much , just bubbled 8 out of the last ten 16$ SNGs.

BTW: Will you please tell us when they are ready?
